this was my second visit to this practice. on both occasions the treatment was positive. everyone was friendly ,informative and professional. there was a delay but reason was fully explained. i had a good experience on both occasions with only slight discomfort felt. (no pain). would highly recommend this practice for cataract surgery.

Made feel at ease from first visit to procedure.The staff were all helpful and kind. I had both of my eyes corrected here within 6 weeks. Thank you to all concerned.

I have had my first eye operated on, and although I was very nervous it was not as scary as I thought it would be, i didn't feel anything during the operation. It is now three weeks since my operation and my left eye vision is great. I can't wait to have my right eye sorted out as the difference in my left and right eye vision is very obvious.

My assessment visit :-The ‘Bar’ is set by The Professional “Doorman” Reception, all the medical staff and treatments excellent.. waiting time was minimal. Operation Day. Every aspect as before! Professional, yet caring. All done in well under the 3 hours advised

I was referred to Spa Medica Wakefield for cataract surgery in both eyes by my optician. The whole process swiftly followed. From assessment to treatment, I was impressed by the friendly and efficient service from a team who appear to have streamlined a complex medical procedure into a confident and careful production line. In my case, the results were quickly obvious and very impressive. Having been very short sighted since primary school, I am now able to walk around without glasses for the first time in over sixty years. Whilst I will need glasses for reading and even better distance vision, I am delighted with these improvements.

The whole team were very caring and professional. This is an excellent facility and the patient care was gentle ,clearly explained and I felt very safe which is paramount for the elderly who are so often ignored and hurried through departments in hospitals
