Once again the service you get from the staff and the procedure by the specialist is second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hospital to anybody.

I went for both my eyes doing I had cataracts in both not together separately absolutely recommend going to spar medic the staff, nurses, and doctors were brilliant they tell you exactly what to expect so you know what they where about, it took 10 minutes each for both eyes.

I had my initial pre op examination for cataract surgery on Tuesday the 6th June 2023. The efficiency and timing with how myself and other patients were moved from room to room during examinations, was outstanding! I returned to have my 1st cataract removal from my left eye jus 2 days later, on Thursday the 8th June 2023. Again everything went like clockwork in preparation, prior to entering the operating theatre. Whereupon after being welcomed by the Surgeon and his team, I was put completely at ease and the operation was over in minutes without any discomfort.. After just 3 days of following Spamedica's post op instructions I now have perfect clear vision in my left eye (with amazing colours) and can't wait to re-visit soon to achieve same in my right eye. From the initial assessment of my eyes to the removal of both cataracts, the treatment was fantastic. All the staff, including receptionists, nurses and doctors were friendly, polite and respectful. At the initial assessment everything was explained clearly and concisely and all the different stages of the assessment were easy to understand. After the assessment, I was given a date for my first cataract to be removed and I did not have long to wait for this appointment. When I arrived at the centre for the procedure, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who directed me to the waiting room. There was absolutely no need to feel anxious and all the staff ensured that I always felt relaxed and well informed. The wall chart in the waiting room was helpful in allowing patients to understand which rooms they would be directed to and what would happen there. There were numerous checks on my identity and which eye was to be treated. Once eye drops had been inserted I was directed to a waiting area and stayed there for quite some time to allow the drops to dilate my pupil. The staff could not have been kinder and very soon I was meeting the doctor who would remove the cataract. The procedure was fine and there was nothing to fear. I experienced a mild discomfort for a very short time. Now that both cataracts have been removed I want to offer heartfelt thanks to all the staff. The restored vision is amazing. What a wonderful service you provide at the centre. I am so grateful to you all. Many, many thanks. You are providing an amazing service.

From entering the clinic to leaving the staff were very welcoming and pleasant which was most reassuring as I was quite apprehensive. The whole experience was very speedy and totally pain free. The results are excellent. Looking forward to a similar experience for my other eye.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very organised and efficient. I had surgery on both eyes. Each time has been an effortless experience. The nurses and surgeon were great Put me at ease right from the start. And my vision is now amazing. Thank you.
