  9. Review titled Massive decline in practice

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 September 2023

My daughter picked up a fungal infection which she has had for a little while I attended the GP practice three times to try and get a diagnosis each time they was unable to diagnose my daughter I was sent to boots pharmacy who also was unable to diagnose. I eventually contracted the skin fungal infection. I suffer with an autoimmune disease. Due to me contracting, this fungal infection and my medication for my autoimmune disease was stopped. Not taking my medication affects my day-to-day life severely. I’m a mother of four small children. Still up until this day my GP practice is yet to diagnose this rash which me and my daughter both have. I eventually got a diagnosis from a private dermatologist. medication was given for myself. My daughter still hasn’t been seen and given medication too. Until this is cleared up, I am unable to take my medication for my autoimmune disease as it can put me up for a risk. Yesterday luckily I spoke to my GP who is super helpful and prescribed some medication for my daughter. The overall practice has had a massive decline in the service that they provide. no same day appointments for vulnerable or small children. to A&E, despite A&E understaffed and overworked. I’ve been sent to A&E to get medication that my GP is supposed to prescribe. I explained to receptionist a few days ago that I needed help filling in the online form as I was unable to do as I was having flareups with my autoimmune disease which is effecting my hands. I was told I still have to fill the form in the receptionist refuse to assist me. I’m extremely unhappy with the service that I receive. They regularly have temporarily Doctors who are unable to diagnose something as little as eczema. I brought another child of mine in with a rash that was it eczema. I was told it was ringworm. I’ve booked another appointment a few weeks later, as that’s the only time another appointment was available to see my normal doctor. My doctor confirmed that it was actually in fact eczema which has spread at this point to most of her body. When I first joined Stratford Village surgery,, I was extremely happy. I’m currently looking for a new GP practice. As it is making a rapid decline.

  10. Review titled Poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 September 2024

Very long time of waiting for the phone appointment (a few weeks) Unhelpful and often rude receptionists Doctors cancel phone appointment without letting know to a patient (you wait all day and go to the bathroom with your phone and they just don’t call) Online Forms regarding appointments need to be send a multiple time sometimes to get any reply from the practice Prescription requests send either via website or NHS app are ignored without a word Very frustrating
