It was unusually for me a disappointing visit. We were half an hour late starting, although it was only 9 30 a.m. We had time only for refixing the veneer from an incisor tooth. The usual general inspection across teeth and gums and descaling couldn't be done, and now I have to wait until late October for an appraisal of a large cavity and completion of work . I had the feeling I was being hurried out of the surgery as quickly as possible - a mere statistical number!... I am sad because I have always found great courtesy and professionalism at the Practice. I know you are all under pressure,but a little more time per patient would have made all the difference. .Haydn R Lee.

Been going years religious to find out could not see a dentist as the one i had had left but i exlpained he was not my dentist but was told i could not be seen only if i paid private which idid but ask for my next 6 month appoitment and was told i could only book it again private which i have done but i am upset that after going for years been treated like this

Dear Sylvia, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear you are upset with being unable to book your next NHS routine appointment. Unfortunately if your current dentist is leaving or left we are unable to book a further NHS routine appointment at present until we replace the current dentist with another NHS dentist. I like my dentist because he blunt and honest which is what my daughter needed as I've been telling her but she doesn't listen to me

The appointment started 30 minutes late. I know this can happen but no explanation or really any acknowledgment. It’s the second time I’ve seen this dentist. He had no idea who I was, why I was there or what we talked about last time, despite having taken quite a lot of notes. After he read them he seemed to have a very vague recollection. He had a cursory look around my mouth and that was it. It felt like he couldn’t get me out of there fast enough. It’s a shame the previous dentist no longer works there. He was very good and I always felt that he had time for me. It always felt like our conversation was a continuation of the previous one. This time it felt like conveyor belt dentistry with no personal touch. Very sad.

Very polite, attentive and pleasant, listened to my problems, and came up with a plan that was satisfactory, the only downside being the length of time before activating treatment

For a change I had a very understanding receptionist who did her very utmost to get me to see a dentist. Seen promptly and professionally. By the dentist who was very thorough and explained everything well. Great service today. Thanks very much
