This medical practice is absolutely amazing. The staff at the reception are very polite and helpful, they always have a smile. I have always been able to get either a face-face or over the phone appointment no matter what time I have rang. The doctors I have seen have been thoughtful and understanding to my worries. They are polite but most importantly of all they are caring. They listen to me and explain things in a clear way. I would totally recommend Abbey medical centre. A very caring practice with great staff.

In a world where GP practices seem to be under constant criticism Abbey is an example of how despite all the difficulties (or should I say challenges!) they are doing an excellent job. The staff are always polite, helpful and kind and although the system isn't perfect they are always striving to improve. Many thanks to all the staff.

Wanted to leave a positive review for the nurses who have been attending to my Mother over the last few months with changing of her bandage (weekly). Staff have been very kind and knowledgeable and I have picked up a few tips along the way. Thank you ever so much for all your hard work and kindness.

Thank you very much. We like our new phone system too!! We have received nothing but positive comments from our patients and very happy to report only a small percentage of calls are answered over 10 minutes throughout the day. This reflects the hard work of our Patient Services Team who strive to turn round calls quickly within peak times whilst not compromising outstanding customer service. I contacted the practise today as I recently attended an appointment and I had a few questions that I wanted to ask a nurse as I have been feeling worried about my medical state. The receptionist on the phone was so helpful and kind, really making me feel at ease and supported. It might have been my best experience with contacting my practise to book an appointment.

I can’t praise your practice enough and have recommended you to friends and neighbours and they are now under your care and over the moon. Your staff go above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble. Although they are very busy, they never ever show any stress. They are polite, it’s like talking to your best fiend when you call, they are simply Angels In disguise. I feel as I should, a person and not just an NHS Number. The receptionists are simply amazing, empathetic, understanding and the Doctors are just 2nd to none. I feel blessed to be a patient at your practice and always tell your staff how fantastic they are. I have no hesitation recommending you to anyone! Top Class with Distinction X

I called 111 as had a problem that I’d had previously and wanted advice. Was told after a long assessment to call the doctors and tell them I needed seeing within 6 hours, an appointment 2 hours later to attend. I’ve been here for many years and always think my treatment is professional, the response is always quick as far as I know? Thank you!

Phoned the surgery and talked to a lovely woman. She made me an appointment and I was lucky enough to be seen on the same day. The doctor was very efficient. All in all a great success.

I called to enquire about the status of my position on the waiting list for a minor op, the receptionist couldn't answer my query at that time but called me the following morning with good news. Very helpful and compassionate.

Excellent service start to finish. Got an appointment for my daughter to see nurse same day and receptions was friendly and polite and the nurse was thorough and informative. Well done Abbey !!!
