Review titled No one will listen
by Anonymous - Posted on 13 September 2024
Last year I contacted the surgery re: a mole on my back, changed in size & shape & was concerning me. I was referred to dermatology & he told me it was nothing but there was one he was concerned about. On examination it was not a problem but he advised me to ‘watch it’. I have another on my chest that has changed and bleeds but this could be due to situation & rubbing of garments. I contacted surgery via econsult a few months ago but got no response. The mole is worrying me now so I did another econsult. GP telephoned me today & before I could explain the worrying mole she read my letter from last year saying everything was ok. I ended the call before bursting into tears. Why does no one listen. This is the problem with telephone consultations, so inhuman.

Review titled Vary poor Service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Paul - Posted on 14 August 2024
Dissatisfied with the service. Takes to long to get an appointment. If you do it’s like two weeks away. When attend the appointment the surgery asks why you are there. Doh you sent me the time and date to attend read my message. Vary Rude receptionists. Doctor wasn’t vary interested . With poor communication skills . Now waiting ages for scans / MRI scan . ( still waiting) no have another message doctor wants to phone in three weeks time . Absolutely unacceptable it’s only a phone call . I can not understand the poor standard of Ashford medical Partners are allowed to carry on with this unacceptable service . ( careless attitude) nothing gets done . As you are moved around the three practices. Unfortunately so disappointed. Me and the Mrs are trying to find another doctors practice as we are in another catchment area to attend. And remove our selfs from Ashford Medical Partnership. This why I have give them I one star. Rating totally useless.

Review titled Willesborough Health Centre used to be much better.

I found communication with the practice reception staff via Klinik and the no reply text messages to be frustrating and the language the reception staff used in response to a follow up query unhelpful, unqualified and uncoordinated.

Review titled Last minute cancelling appointments
Rated 1 star out of 5

Cancelling important appointments for minors on the day of the appointment then only offering a reschedule in two weeks. When the initial appointment was routine yet I had to call to get an appointment and even that was a month wait time. Absolutely shocking!

I made a phone call to the practice and the person I spoke to was so helpful in every way, even filled in the 111 form for me, and I had an appointment very quickly. Great stuff.

I had a blood test appointment for a glucose tolerance test last week which you have to fast for, nothing to eat or drink from the night before. 8.50 first blood test followed by a glucose drink yuk . 2 Hours later you have to stay sitting in the waiting room the whole time 11.00 second blood test . 1 week later phone for the results to be told the nurse had not labelled them properly so they have to be repeated no appointments until June , I have mobility problems so I rely on taxis or lifts if I haven’t of call in would anyone of told me?

Review titled Waste of Time
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Mr Wisty - Posted on 22 April 2024
After 3 reminders confirming my appointment I arrived in good time for my appointment. The automated check in service indicated I was in the wrong location and I should see the receptionist. The receptionist said I didn’t have an appointment until I showed the confirmations I received. After being initially sent to the wrong room I finally reached the Doctor only to be informed I was late. The appointment consisted entirely of the Doctor typing up my recent history and on completion she informed me my 10 minutes were up, no time for any consultation, no time for any treatment. I may as well have had my appointment with a medical secretary. I was advised if I wanted to raise any issues I would need to book another appointment with the receptionist, who advised that I would need to fill out another on line form and wait another 3 weeks in the hope of another appointment. This is just another example of how the practice avoid there duty of patient care.

Review titled Absolute Joke
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Nicole Davies - Posted on 09 April 2024
After completing an econsult for a ? water infection I was told to use pharmacy first; which I did on the same day to then be told by the pharmacist that due to my symptoms I should have been seen by a Dr the same day so there was nothing they could do for me, I then rang the surgery after waiting for 1/2 hour to then be told that I would need to do another econsult and explain in it about the pharmacy, I was then sent a text telling there were no appointments left that day to contact 111; no joy there as I could not get through! Therefore I completed a 3rd econsult and was told I would need to come to surgery do a wee sample then the Dr would look to see if I needed antibiotics, once I had done the wee sample the receptionist told me that the nurse had been messaged to come test the sample and that someone would be in touch, a bit confused as now I was day 5 of this pain and feeling of wanting to constantly pee; I was told that I did not need to wait, also the receptionist should be told that chewing gum whilst talking to patients doesn’t look very professional! As you can understand I am very frustrated with the service that I got over the past 2 days, I have not used the GP service much in my life until recently and I find it all quite terrible Where is the empathy? The reception team always seem to have an attitude to patients, I felt as if I was a nuisance being at the surgery which is not how it should be I myself work for the NHS in a clinic environment and if we treated our patients the way that I feel that I have been treated over the last 2 days we would have complaints galore! It would be nice to feel respected when we visit the GP surgery as really we do not want to be there and I have still had no response about my wee sample at 17.00hrs Regards

Review titled Taking on New Patients but cannot fulfill Appointments!
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Richard Graham - Posted on 28 March 2024
This week I contacted the GP via Klinik giving detailed input on my current health issues. Was referred to 111 because the GP can not give an appointment face to face in under 10 days yet you state you are taking on more patients??? Madness! Due to my situation 111 can not be of much help whereas my GP at least has proper notes on my medical history. Also you cancelled my medication request but did not explain why, no wish to take up your time but it now mean a problem. I realise the NHS has huge issues but close to giving up with the problems it is creating for all.
