I applied for a appointment on Thursday 26th October. I'm still waiting for a response today 1st November. I am not happy. I intend to phone the surgery even though I've been told you can't make appointments eccept on the website.

I recently had a suspected mini stroke. I have been waiting for a scan and spoke to the gp today who is chasing this up for me. The staff and doctors here have so much empathy. They are brilliant I have had brilliant treatment for many years at this practice I can't praise them highly enough. They are amazing and truly care.

Have several members of staff who specialise in their own area. Always helpful and friendly, they can now do a lot over the phone which is idea for us as we are so busy

Had arranged telephone appointment with Pharmacy team,arranged week before via receptionist. Spoke to lady,unfortunately can't remember her name,discussed the appropriate analgesia requirements for very painful knee,awaiting knee replacement operation,and she arranged for repeat prescriptions to be maintained.

I used the online consultation for my son, it was very easy to complete and I receive a call within 24 hours! The lady I spoke to was lovely and very helpful

Needed bloods and BP doing. Bloods flagged by St.James, Leeds, one showed that medication needs adjusting. Phoned the practice, there was a 3 week wait for bloods. Booked appointment, given 8.20am. Morning of blood test I received a text message at 8.03am to inform me that tests cancelled due to staff sickness. 17 minutes notice with a taxi almost at my house. I phoned the practice and was told that a message was sent last night but that I would not have received it until this morning due to the practice being closed!! given another appointment in 3 weeks time with no alternative offered. Just not good enough so I had to ask if I could go to Stamford House, got an evening appointment there in just over a weeks time. If someone has been waiting for 3 weeks already then there must be someone else available to do a blood test. Just a very low standard of care with no consideration for patients health.

Dear patient, We are saddened to see you are displeased with our service this isn't the service we strive for,however staff sickness while an inconvenience which can cause patients upset and distress is something that is very hard to plan ahead for although we try to contact those patients affected as quickly as possible offering an alternativeappointment,we as a practice are very sorry that in your case you where not contacted sooner and will use your feedback to help inform service improvements and overall patient contact.
