  3. Review titled Good Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am happy with the response I received from the doctor. My skin condition was dealt with via a phone call and acted on promptly by prescribing a cream. Always happy with this practice.

  4. Review titled Disappointing still no treatment after a year.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 June 2024

Extremely disappointing experience with the whole service I have received. Despite reaching out to them about a concerning numbness in my arm and hand over a year ago, I am still waiting for any sort of treatment. The lack of urgency and responsiveness from the doctor's office has left me frustrated and concerned about my health. Firstly, it took over a week for the doctor's office to even return my call after I initially reached out to them. This delay in communication was highly unprofessional and concerning, as I was experiencing ongoing discomfort and needed medical attention. Such a delay in response can lead to increased anxiety and uncertainty for patients who are already dealing with health issues. Furthermore, the fact that I am still waiting for an appointment after a year of experiencing numbness in my arm and hand is completely unacceptable. The prolonged wait time has caused unnecessary stress and worry, as I have been left in the dark about the cause of my symptoms and potential treatment options. This lack of prompt action from the doctor's office reflects a disregard for patient care and a failure to prioritize the well-being of their patients. As a patient, I expected to receive timely and efficient medical care. However, the poor service I have encountered at my doctor's office has shattered my trust in their ability to provide adequate care. The extended wait time for an appointment has not only affected my physical well-being but has also had a negative impact on my mental health, as I constantly worry about the potential underlying causes of my symptoms. In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed with the poor service I have received at my doctor's office. The delay in response and the prolonged wait time for an appointment have left me feeling neglected and frustrated. As a patient, I deserve timely and attentive care, especially when dealing with ongoing health concerns. I hope that my feedback serves as a wake-up call for the doctor's office to improve their service and prioritize the needs of their patients.

  5. Review titled Disappointed

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 June 2024

Yet again after asking for help for a condition I have been put off for another 2 weeks. Having experienced the consequences of being put off and only being diagnosed over the phone with a skin lesion that carried on growing to the point when I finally got to the specialist it was too big to remove. I'm disappointed with having to always put in an e-consult to be told again it will be 2 or 3 weeks before I get a phone call from a doctor. This simply is not good enough.

  7. Review titled Check Your Copy Letters

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Pam - Posted on 14 June 2024

Further to receipt of a copy document as sent to me and my GP, I was extremely concerned by the blatant inaccuracy contained within the document. Contrary to document content, I was at no point invited into discussion regarding potential treatments. Indeed, I did not have a conversation other than to be told that I was there to have a wart removed via cryotherapy. If given options, it would not have been Cryotherpay! I was no sooner in the centre than I was out without problem.

  8. Review titled I’ve never seen a doctor, only a phone call and message

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Karen - Posted on 12 June 2024

The doctor on the phone was great. He listened to my concerns and sent a prescription to the pharmacy straight away. It would be nice to see a doctor sometimes though.

  9. Review titled Worried

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 July 2024

Whilst I have no problems with the GP I spoke too, who was very helpful, I have concerns with the practice overall. I really dislike the econsult system. I think it is totally impersonal and I worry that if it is something extremely personal, would I want it to be seen by other than my GP? The answer is obviously no I wouldn't. If I try to contact the surgery by phone, it can be a nightmare, 40 minute wait I had one day! Then, the receptionist wants to know all personal details, and again I am unwilling to discuss some things with them. I realise this system was necessary during Covid restrictions and it made total sense, however, to continue it now seems to be a copout. Whatever happened to good old community doctoring? A GP who was trusted by their patients because the GP actually knew them. And, how can you diagnose over a phone? Surely you need to see your patient face to face and read body language and faces to get the bigger picture. eg. "Dr I have a niggly pain" could actually be "I have a lot of pain" if you could actually see the furrowed brow and clenched fist. I am at a loss as to how this system works safely. I worry too for my future as I approach 70.

  10. Review titled Dr listened to me

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Good face to face appointment. Felt Dr was listening. Offered good support and plan going forward. Have been told to 'come back and see me if plan isn't working'. Hopeful.
