    In 2022 and 2023, I had both hips replaced. Second hip had problems and needed to be pinned. I am having problems with this hip. Medical Medical did quickly get my hospital appointments and subsequent operations. I was advised by surgeon that ultra sound cortisone was suggested method of getting rid of pain. Unfortunately this was not available (GP did request). Hospital offered only ct, my very helpful GP explained to me the advantages/disadvantages of this action. He did follow up enquiries and suggested I go for physio (which he is organising). Had GP not have taken time to give me up to date information i would have been unaware. I feel GPs are doing a wonderful service under demanding time. I only moved to Plympton in 2013 and was later found to have breast cancer, which again when poking around "self examibation" Beacon Medical had me to oncology again within days. I was sad to have left my old surgery but am extremely grateful to have found Beacon who (for me) have been marvellous at following actions through.

    Everything dealt within one day.I was able to collect my prescription and begin medication very quickly.

    Went about painfull verucas on left foot only, not the Dr’s fault but was told nhs do not treat them now Why ?

Warts and verruca are considered "self care" conditions and current NHS guidance (see https://bit.ly/OTCguide ) is you should seek advice on treatment from your community pharmacy. You may find this useful https://bit.ly/WartsVerr . We do not offer cryotherapy on the NHS but you may be able to find private services who offer this.     Waited weeks for a doctor to get back to me about my son absolutely shocking and then I emailed about a letter that was meant to be sent to me by a doctor that I haven’t received and they told me they couldn’t help on an email I would have to do an econsult for a letter pathetic

    My reason: Cannot get an appointment without filling in an econsult form. Within 24 hours, one receives a phone call. One then has to wait for 14 days to get a phone call from the doctor. The doctor will only try to phone twice on that day. If driving or having wet hands, it is very difficult to answer in time. If you miss the call, you have to start the process again. When I eventually saw a female trainee doctor in January, she said that I could come in at any time as she wasn't busy!!!!!!!!!!!! 2. When repeat prescriptions are requested, it takes about a week. Why???

    The doctor that carried out my consultation was very kind and caring and took the time to listen and understand what I said. She agreed that I should carry on with my current medication and suggested other methods to improve my general state of mind.
