    I was unexpectedly contacted by my GP, well out of hours, to discuss my general wellbeing. I felt a genuine sense of interest in how I was coping with my after care from various operations, over the last few years.

    I was given a date (11th July), time (14:37) and surgery (Chaddlewood) for a blood test by text on 27th June. I received a text reminder on 10th July, which changed the surgery, but this wasn't obvious, the date and time being unchanged. I went to Chaddlewood surgery, as the original text to be told that I didn't have an appointment there.

    Noticed something wrong with me, so went to econcel that told me to contact doctors ASAP so talked to receptionist and she managed to get me an appointment with the doctor within an hr very impressed

    Managed to see the Doctor the same day at Ivybridge. He was very polite and explained things. Prescibed medication

    I have had a good support service from my GP surgery that was able to triage me into a suitable course of action to help resolve my issue. Whilst I didn’t necessarily speak with a doctor, I did speak with trained professionals who were able to reassure me.

    Did an econsult about my poor and declining mental health due to a bereavement . I explained how severe my symptoms were and thought that I may get an appointment fairly soon, however I was astounded to be given a back for 2 weeks time. If I felt like I could wait 2 weeks I wouldn’t have tried to get help from a gp. I’ve been dealing with my mental health for10 years and every time I try and get help I get pushed all around the houses and don’t get anywhere

    I used online prescription service and asked for two items of medication, because it wasn't on my repeat prescription it had to be reviewed by GP. 2 days to get a reply to my request and 12 days later I received a text saying prescription would be sent to pharmacy, wasn't actually ready to collect for another 6 days - 18 days from my request, absolutely ridiculous and dangerous. I also requested to see a gp regarding my medication as I was experiencing side effects and I needed to discuss the symptoms and alternative options; possibly source a different medication, explained I was experiencing severe anxiety and depression, and was not sleeping. I was given a date for a telephone appointment, even though it is on my notes that I'm extremely hard of hearing and struggle with phone calls. The appointment was for 11 days time, I'm upset, struggling and have to wait for nearly 2 weeks; I could have been seriously bad by then. The day of the expected phone call came and went, no phone call; I could definitely be dead by now, but they don't care. Appalling service, dangerous medical lack of involvement, lack of empathy, nearly an hour to wait ìn the telephone queue before my call was answered. Still haven't spoken to anybody. Really feel isolated and frustrated. My son’s surgery will always respond on the day if he has a medical problem, and any prescription that is needed, is sent instantly by electronic transfer to the pharmacy, he can sometimes collect the medication that same day. I really wish that I hadn’t joined Beacon Medical Group, especially the Plympton surgery at Mudge Way. I totally disagree with these Private providers who are turning GP surgeries into businesses.

    Relies heavily on processes which requires e-consult and awaiting call back unless in pain which in my case resulted in phone consultation same day. Regular Prescription approvals seem to take too long. Reading my recent notes on the NHS app I would much prefer face to face appointments so errors ie left side and not the recorded right side do not happen. Surger's are very clean and tidy and staff helpful
