    I was seen almost immediately and the doctor was brilliant. He has done more for me in one meeting than the past five months.

    Belittled and talked down to by the man we saw, ended up in A&E who were incredibly glad I’d ignored the advice of the GP and gone to them instead.

    The staff want retraining go in to make an appointment as asked by the GP but had to jump through hoops to get any where.

    Following my e-consult submission I was given an appointment with a GP at Station Road practice who was extremely thorough and very reassuring. I then had a follow up phone call from my own GP to discuss my test results, which again was very thorough.

    My experience has been really good at Beacon Park. Quick responses and they have been very helpful. My experience has been great with the reception team and I haven’t waited long for my appointment.

    In my experience the regular GPs at Beacon are always helpful and knowledgeable, however my recent experience with a locum GP was very different. I was phoned by a locum GP after completing 2 econsults regarding separate issues. He told me he could only discuss one as he was too busy to discuss both. Told me to decide which was most urgent. He didn’t ask any appropriate questions and couldn’t wait to end the call. When I spoke to the surgery reception staff, they checked my details and said it clearly stated that he should discuss both issues. I now have another 2 week wait to speak with someone.

    I attended a surgery appointment for a problem with my right knee. I found the lady very professional, thorough and approachable. She asked me to perform several exercises, diagnosed my problem and gave be advice on how to help the knee repair itself. She followed this up by emailing me a list of exercises and a link to how to obtain physiotherapy for tennis elbow. I was very impressed with the service she provided and the advice she gave me was exactly what I was looking for. Great service!!

    I found the unscheduled telephone call difficult.Would have found a booked time - even just am or pm more helpful. Out of the blue when in the car difficult and was unable to request information..

    I Needed a home visit because I couldn’t get to the Surgery.Was treated very well with the receptionist.The Dr who came to see was very kind and diagnosed my problem.I cannot thank you all enough.

    Although I find the E consult form very long winded, I recently had to submit one on three occasions during a 10 day period. These were actioned promptly and I received either an appointment or a consultation by a nurse practitioner on the same day. Unfortunately I wasn’t getting any better and I really wanted to see a GP. Rather than completing another E consult (which I couldn’t face doing again with mostly the same information ) I phoned my surgery and my concerns were listened to and rather than be directed to submit another E consult I was able to speak with a GP which resulted in a F2F appointment that afternoon.
