    Visited Beaversbrook, for a problem I ve had since before Christmas, was seen by 2 very freindly student drs, who were very thorough. They got a Dr in to explain to him what they thought it was, am still waiting to hear back to see a female dr, as still have problem.

    The doctor I saw was very helpful and easy to talk to. I did not feel rushed and I felt listened to. I only waited a couple of minutes before being seen.

    I was telephoned and asked to attend with someone the same day - my wife was away looking after my daughter in law following a hip replacement. I assumed it was not good news but it was insisted I attended the appointment. I was about to be advised of a likely lung cancer diagnosis resulting from a recent scan. When I arrived at the surgery, I booked myself in - so had no welcome. I was early but my appointment was 15 minutes late. I have no real issue with either of the above especially the doctor who was outstanding and compassionate without being over the top. My issue is why send me a review request - asking me if I had a friendly welcome and a good experience. A little inappropriate don’t you think? I think the doctors are ok, this particular doctor much better than any other there but some of the clerical staff are massively undertrained. The doctor has gone into overdrive organising ongoing treatment etc.

    What can I say? My symptoms were thoroughly discussed and explained to me and I felt at ease. I was recommended appropriate medicine and came away feeling a weight off my shoulders! The receptionist was very helpful too! Thanks to all of you.

    Used Patchs to get a review appointment. Worked well despite AI not understanding issue. Was seen by GP who was friendly, helpful and reactive to my concerns. Received a referral for surgery.

    I saw a Dr about insomnia. It was a Dr I had never heard of at the practice before, I suspect he was a locum. He was very patronising; asking if I had tried hot milk to get to sleep as well as a more intimate suggestion! I did a 20 mile round trip from work to see this Dr and it was a total waste of time and money, I will not see him again, I will try another doctor and see if they can help
