I recently visited one of the nurse practitioners again for an ongoing condition. They are always kind, polite professional and reassuring. I’m always happy to see this person.

On arrival at the surgery the lady at redemption was very helpful, and kindly pointed to me the appointment was yesterday not today

So I have to say that in the last couple of years our family has gone from loving the service from Beversbrook to having a pretty shocking experience with “Patford Partnership”. On this particular occasion I was booked in to see a nurse practitioner who was absolutely lovely, took the time required and was friendly and personable. The only downside is I had to wait 6 weeks for the appointment. Let’s all hope this practice can turn things around.

Very good experience. Friendly smiling receptionist. Dr was helpful and informative only thing I can complain about is took a few weeks before I could get appointment. As the appointment was arranged by text it was a bit awkward as I was at work and couldn’t have my phone out, so when I received a text offering appointment for one hour later and I don’t work in Calne I couldn’t take appointment at such short notice. Then offered telephone appointment which I also had to decline. I was surprised to then be offered one the same day but later which I was pleased about as thought I would have to wait a few weeks again. Merging three competent surgeries just before the covid epidemic hasn't been easy. As a patient of 17 years, and someone with comex medical issues, I have found that getting to speak with a doctor has been challenging. And seeing the same one more than once has been impossible. Nurse practioners are amazing, and the nurses are great.

Unfortunately we don’t find this practice friendly or helpful Waiting times see excessive and trying to get an appointment in a reasonable timeframe is impossible

My appointment was about a month after my initial contact, however I did say it was not urgent - so it wasn't a problem. My waiting time at the surgery was no more than 10 minutes after my appointment time. The nurse immediately recognised both of my concerns and advised accordingly. She also verified her diagnosis on line and showed me so I could understand. I also know that should my issue become more serious I can recontact and take it further.

This visit was for a medication review. I was seen on time and the nurse practitioner was helpful and knowledgeable. She was very keen to get my medication right. My prescriptions had got into a bit of a muddle since my last review but she spent time and energy sorting things out. She also understood how much easier it would be if I could order my meds bi-monthly. I have been doing this monthly for years and now I only have to think about it every other month. She was interested in how I was managing and whether I had been experiencing side effects. She also suggested that I see her in a couple of months to discuss another issue, unrelated to my current medication regime. I felt she had my best interests at heart and despite being busy she didn’t make me feel rushed. Reception were pleasant and efficient. I don’t think it was the warmest of welcomes but as long as they are pleasant I don’t mind. I prefer to use the Beversbrook location as the parking is easier and reception seem to be more accommodating and efficient.

I have multiple needs which I need continuity and a supportive approach to help manage closely. My GP is always supportive and allows time to talk issues through in an empathetic way. I appreciate appointments are limited due to availability, but will always request her for continuity of care and I am happy to wait for her availability.
