    2 appts same day different surgeries. Attended first at Beversbrook checked to see if they had blood test appt for that morning. They did I accepted that asked reception to cancel the patford appt. Came back to later appt only to find on my way home that I received a message saying I did not attend Patford appointment. No I didn’t because I asked them to cancel it to make it available for others can’t do right for doing wrong it seems

    I was trying to rearrange an appointment i called and was number 6 on hold i held for 60 minutes and only got as far as number 2 As i failed in my call i then had a rather rude message about not attending my appointment I do not belive that it took 60 minutes to clear 4 calls

    I had a medical issue, which was causing problems. I messaged the practice using system online. I had a reply, was able to get an appointment, saw a nurse practitioner, and was referred to a specialist. I have been with the practice for 10 years, and never had any issues. This practice in my opinion does a very good job!

    The Beversbrook Medical Centre is commendable. I have always found it to be efficient, reassuring and competent. My recent consultation went over time but was comprehensive and not rushed. On a general note this practice and the NHS in general seem to have an instinct when to prioritise.

    I had left a message concerning a worrying lump after having cancer treatment the previous year. I received an appointment by the afternoon and thankfully after seeing a doctor I felt reassured which was a big relief. I cannot thank rhe surgery enough for their quick response to this very worrying concern

    I was seen at the practice following 111 referral, my appointment was text to me within an hour of my 111 call around 3pm and the appointment was made for the same day. Welcoming staff, clean waiting room and I was seen on time, which at the end of a practice clinic day (1730) was hugely appreciated. GP was friendly and very helpful (appt was for my 4yo child), Prescription ordered and collected from nearby pharmacy, all in all it was easy and excellent service. Based on this experience I would recommend the practice

    My appointment with the nurse practitioner went well but, trying to get an appointment was a different story, I phoned in the morning and it wasn’t until after being shunted to a pharmacy and back that early that evening I was given an appointment for the next day . I tried the online services that I was recommended (over the phone) system online and the NHS website, but both these services told me I was unable to use their systems.

    I have had two experiences at the surgery recently. One trying to get an urgent appointment for my son, one for myself. It seems most problems are seen primarily by a nurse practitioner, not a GP, as a kind of triaging service. With my son's appointment, which took many attempts by phone to coordinate, a process which left me feeling exasperated & unheard, I questioned this and was told that the nurse would be perfectly qualified to assess my son. Having driven 20 minutes to get there, nurse said immediately she was not qualified to assess. Luckily after a wait, a GP made himself available, and I am thankful to the very astute and kind nurse & GP that my son went home very reassured. My experience with another nurse practitioner yesterday was superb. She was attentive and worked fast but I felt listened to and comforted that I was on a pathway to resolving some issues. But I wonder how much stress these nurses are under, whether things can be missed as a result of gatekeeping access to GPs in this way, and how on earth people with difficulties and perhaps lower skills for life are able to get themselves care when the booking systems are so confusing and seem to have many potential pitfalls. During our wait at the surgery, my son and I heard two elderly people coming to reception and asking for a way to communicate something that didn't involve an online link. My calls to the surgery were always 'passed on to the bookings team' but evidently weren't communicated fully and we ended up given appointment times that we simply couldn't attend, and eventually after pushing with female nurse, not male doctor.
