Only a temp. patient. Good info. on how to get same day appointment (it did mean being at the surgery early). Seen by thoughful Doctor who diagnosed and arranged for immediate hosp. admisssion. Thank you all so very much.

Thank you so much to Everyone .. Reception… the best receptionists here, the nurses, so knowledgeable and understanding the doctors so understanding and helpful as well as diagnosing.. the care teams.. we recently have been in contact with, so helpful, the pharmacist the professionals behind the scenes, I’m overwhelmed with the level of care Birchington medical practice has given us over the past couple of years and even more so since a recent diagnosis. Thank you Everyone

My appointment with the diabetes specialist nurse was excellent, informative and helpful. Reception team less helpful- disappointing.

I’ve never had a problem with this surgery other than trying to make an appointment. If you request to hold your place in the queue then appointments are generally gone. Otherwise you have to wait on the phone for an age. I’ve never seen a GP in the 3 + years I have been registered there. I don’t even know who it is. The receptionists seem friendly enough and I’ve never encountered any issues there

Thank you for your review of the surgery. Most appointments now do not require a GP. We have a very wide multi-disciplinary medical team at the practice and our reception team will book you with the most apporpriate clinician for your need. Sadly demand is growing and the level of GP's in the country is decreasing so this puts huge pressure on the primary care system. We would always recommend using the 111 or local urgent treatment centres if we are full on any day as they have the same level of access to your records as we do.

Easy to register on the terminal inside reception as the queue was long and moving slowly, appointment time was 9:30 seen on the dot very professional service all round.

I was being called to give me results of tests. Dr didn't know what he was calling for as such, he did however suggest he would request outstanding results be sent asap.
