Trying to get an appointment for real term injury as a 30y/o was difficult. I had to eventually go to Eastry view in whitstable to bee seen by someone. However when request for a sick note at reception this was passed on quickly and given by gp same day.

I was seen promptly at the time set for my appointment. The staff who dealt with me were polite, efficient and were able to answer further queries that I had. Very good experience.

Complete lack of knowledge of staff of what services are available. I was told that the nexus implant wasn't available at BMC, I then ask reception for the contact number for the appropriate clinic. I am then told I can have it at Birchington. I'm offered a telephone appointment in 8 weeks as that is the earliest appointment to discuss, when it's already been discussed with the contraceptive nurse that I am appropriate to have this. I wait the 8 weeks but miss the telephone call by 5 minutes as I am at home on my own caring for my 1 year old. I appreciate I missed the call but to be given a whole day rather than an appointment time is ridiculous. I then rebook, next appointment is another 6 weeks time, then receive a text message cancelling said appointment. Next available appointment is now in May. 12 weeks so far just to speak to someone to get some contraceptives. Ludicrous and appalling service. Honestly the fuss that is made after you have a baby of making sure you are on contraceptives. It would be useful if you could actually access them. Really disappointed in this service.

I requested a time for my telephone consultation, which was honoured by the clinician. He was very helpful and provided excellent advice.

I tend to use econsult and find it excellent. Im informed when my problem will be reviewed, and if a gp will call and what day and time. All the staff are friendly and professional

I got a reminder via text of a physio appointment at the practise for this week, last night and realised I had to cancel as I had made other arrangements that I couldn't delay. It lead me to a link to press to book a new appointment. This morning I got a call from the surgery to rebook my physiotherapy appointment which saved me alot of time and was alot easier than trying to do by me ringing in myself. And whilst on the phone someone else had cancelled a later slot with the physio which was perfect for me. So all good I always find the receptionists friendly and helpful at the practise.

I had been waiting over a year for a referral to a neurologist. I called the hospital to check progress and they informed me that they wrote to my GP 13 months ago requesting more information regarding the referral and because the GP did not respond, they wrote again to say the referral had been rejected. My GP failed to tell me any of this or follow up so I have been waiting 14 month’s for a referral that was never going to happen. I contacted GP to see what was happening and they said they had received the notification from the hospital but couldn’t tell me why nothing had been done about it and didn't seem to care. I had to have a telephone appointment again and when I mentioned other symptoms that may be related, i was told that i need a different appointment to discuss this. It’s so difficult to get an appointment and the receptionists are so rude that it makes you not want to call

I wanted an appointment for my ankles as worried about the arthritis and for someone to check a mark on my face just to check it wasn't something nasty but i couldn't get an appointment. I had to phone on the friday after 12 noon when appointments would be available for 2 or 3 weeks later but as i was away then, i still haven't got an appointment. The receptionist was helpful but there was no availabil.
