    The receptionist are always polite and not afraid to have an amusing conversation lol if called for. The whole area is always clean that makes for a good experience Thank you Birchington Medical Centre ????

    The fact that the receptionist had not registered my arrival. Therefore, I was left waiting and no one knew I was there. The Nurse I was seeing had marked me as a no show ( failure to turn up). It was sorted in the end and I was seen luckly but it could have meant that I missed my appointment. I was told the receptionist was new, however I inly discovered the issue because she had done it to other patients and another patient memtiined it yo a member of staff.

    Had a cough since august 2022 been to see doctors twice because I couldn’t breathe properly given antibiotics twice plus given fostair pump, pump is working nicely phoned back on 31 March 2023 with the same cough because it’s getting worse Wheezing and Crackling noises and left Shoulder now hurting but couldn’t get an appointment until the 17 April and was told to go to AE and use the GP services their I need to see the same doctor who said I may need a X-ray so will have to wait until the 17 April to get appointment so I’m not happy but I do understand the doctors are under pressure

    4.50 appt for phone consult came at 6.15pm original message said between 3 and 6 which meant waiting by the phone all afternoon. My nhs app gave 4.50 time. Consult 5*.

    The GP I spoke to advised me that if I am confirmed to have a specific condition, that its cause would be due to too much red wine and a poor diet! I don’t drink and I cook each day a good diet, but he did not ask me, just assumed! Not impressed.

    I was relieved to finally have a diagnosis but am shocked at how long this took from online consultation request until 'phone call with results just as the pharmacy had closed for the weekend. And I have since discovered that a November 2021 blood test showed low folate and there was no follow-up at that time, which might have saved me a great deal of fatigue and general malaise.

    I cannot fault any aspect of the surgery from the reception team to the GP that saw me for me appointment, who was fabulous. I remain very grateful to all of the team at the surgery for their continued care.

    Still have to take a lucky dip on a phone call in the morning. Last time phoned at 8am and was number 18 in the queue how does that happen . Then all the appointments have gone.

    The lady on the phone was polite and efficient , however, the outcome did not resolve my problem and I still feel pretty rough.
