I had an informative discussion with GP regarding the management of a condition. It was helpful to know what to expect in the future and how best to maintain my current health.

I was due to see the nurse at 12.10 and shortly after arriving at 12.05 I was seen by a lovely Nurse who answered my every question. She was polite happy and attentive.

I am now hearing impaired which is hugely frustrating and isolating, especially as I can’t use the phone for calls. The receptionists and GP’s I’ve seen at this surgery have been outstanding in their care provided and also how they’ve adapted the normal systems for me. I’ve now also met the nurses as I was called for a routine cervical screening, again absolutely outstanding care, so so much better than where I lived before . I’m very grateful for the way I have been treated.

I recently attended the surgery for a blood test. After checking in I only sat in the waiting room long enough to take my coat off before I was called in for my appointment. The nurse was friendly and excellent at inserting the needle to take the blood samples. I didn't feel a thing. Excellent service. Thank you

Both of my children are registered with the practice. I have always had positive experiences with both doctors and nurses when it comes to the care of my children. I would say that the reception staff need a little education on the military covenant and to understand how registering works for military parents rather than trying to argue that my children cannot be registered with them though. I would also suggest that as the health visitors in southern parishes no longer offer a weighing clinic for babies, that offering up a room with a set of scales on vaccination days would be helpful and reassuring to parents if it is possible.
