    My experience at Blackthorn Surgery was pleasant and efficient . Was impressed I didn't have to wait long for my appointment. Good service.

    The healthcare assistants are polite, caring and very professional, the nurses are exceptional. I’ve only seen one lady doctor and she was extremely helpful

    Pharmacist recommended me to see a doctor within 5 days This is my registered practice Online booking and web diagnosis offline 2 days running Reception couldn’t book anything over 7 days away? No e consult available even to post photos Absolutely stunned by lack of medical services - was a very good practice but this is dire.

    I arrived on time for a blood test, chèches in via an electronic system that included a health questionnaire and information on who I would be seeing. Very efficient and quick ( and painless) blood taking.

    First visit since transfer to area from Epsom Surrey. Arrived appx 5 minutes before appointment an signed on electronically . Whilst accepting sign on I was informed that some details on my file were missing and could I see reception to provide the missing inf. Did this after appointment but told all required info was already logged. The blood test was quick and pain free and I was out very quickly. Good experience for me as a new patient. However it was a pity I was asked to provide info that was already on record and so time was taken up unnecessarily at reception which always seems to be busy when phoning or calling personally. Wasted time for me and the practice.!!!.. Keith Sutton

    Been trying for 3 weeks to get a docs appointment. Phone up at 8am as told, spend over an hour on hold (most people work and this is less than ideal), when you finally get a human on the end of the phone they tell you all appointments have now gone and to repeat the process tomorrow. The only positive about my experience at this practise was when I finally got to see a doctor who was extremely kind and helpful. Blackthorn seriously need to sort it out, too many patients on their books and not enough staff to deal with it

  10. Review titled Impossible to get appointments even on line

    What used to be a good Practice has recently gone downhill. The on line consultation system is mostly off line (apparently as it has reached capacity)! When calling, calls are often cut off. Appointments even for children hardly ever available and told to call back in a week. Totally unacceptable!
