Three successes in a row! After getting speedy follow-ups to my previous two contacts (including one while on holiday at the far end of the country), I got a very prompt call back following my use of Ask First. The Doctor and I agreed to change one of my medications (she was quick to check which alternative would be best). All done in just 5 minutes, with no need to drive to the surgery during school rush hour, thus also saving petrol. I know some people may want a face-to-face sometimes, but saving time and petrol (and the planet) can also work very well. We’d all like the NHS to be perfect all the time: my last three uses of the Practice have all been perfect!

I was given an appointment quite quickly . The Doctor took time to listen, asked lots of relevant questions , discussed options for treatment, arranged blood test which was turned around within 24 hrs and then arranged a telephone consultation to discuss results and finalise a treatment plan . Very reassuring and good advice given

AskFirst easy to use and then got call back in 20 minutes. Excellent. GP great on the phone; booked me to see in person. Saw GP 45 minutes later. Wonderful service.

There is never enough available appointments. Receptionist can be rude and not very happy to help or assist you with .

My visit today was a minor procedure, the nurse was friendly and knowledgeable and took great care in making sure everything was ok before I left the surgery. Burnham Health Centre has excellent doctors, nurses and practice staff, I always receive excellent treatment from them all. All surgeries are busy and Burnham Health are trying to alleviate this by introducing alternative options for certain conditions. I’ve been there for 40 years and would not consider going elsewhere.

The nurse who performed my smear test today was calm, kind and efficient. She made what can be a fairly unpleasant routine test so easy. My whole experience of receiving a letter inviting me to come for a test, booking the appointment and being seen on the day was very smooth and straightforward. Thank you.

My nurse appointment went very smoothly, I was seen on time and was informed of everything that was going to happen.Only negative was I did have to wait for a month or so for the appointment but after seeing that over 200 appointments a month are not attended I’m not surprised there is a wait. If you can’t attend a appointment cancel it so it can be given to someone else.
