Great practice however difficult to get through and secure an appointment. Always at least 13 in the queue and when you get through after waiting a long time there’s never any appointments, you need to ring at 8 and 12. Tried to book via NHS app but never works

We appreciate feedback and look to continuously improve our service to our patients to aim for excellence. Appointments are by telephone or in person and patients can state a preference at the time of booking. This may include a referral to NHS 111 or a walk-in service if capacity has been reached within practice. These alternative services will safety net to the most appropriate service after a clinical review has taken place if necessary. We want to help patients access the practice as easily as possible and below is a list of alternative ways to access services at West Leeds Family Practice and are available via the practice website www.westleedsfamilypractice.co.uk REGISTER FOR ONLINE SERVICES book, check or cancel appointments with a GP, nurse, or other healthcare professional. order repeat prescriptions see parts of your health record, including information about medicines, vaccinations, and test results see communications between your GP surgery and other services, such as hospitals. PATCHS Accessing PATCHS: you can access PATCHS by clicking on the banner on your GP website or using the NHS App (if your GP practice have enabled access). Registering for PATCHS: you can access PATCHS by using the NHS App or NHS Login (if you have an account) or by registering for a PATCHS account. It is also possible to access PATCHS with a 'Guest Account' so you do not need to register, but this will mean that you will need to enter all your personal details every time you contact the GP practice, and you will not have access to view historic requests. Logging in to PATCHS: Once you have registered, you can login by entering your registered email address and password. Submit your request to the GP Practice: Simply choose the appropriate option regarding your request and answer a few simple questions to help your GP understand your problem. Your answers are then sent to your GP who will respond as quickly as possible during their opening hours. Initial responses may be via online message or telephone, and face-to-face or video consultation appointments will be arranged if needed.

I find the practice reception staff very helpful and who try hard to get the help you need. The appointments system works well for me and I have always got an appointment when I need it. My prescription is also always prepared as required.

Appointment on time , staff are friendly from reception to doctors and nurses and if your unsure about anything they will explain it again

Just received a telephone call from this surgery to provide me with my six monthly diabetes review results. With the help of the diabetes clinician have managed to bring my levels down to a pre diabetes range so I would like to thank them for their support and encouragement.

Staff and practitioners are and have been very accommodating and kind. Best GP I've had. Never have a problem getting an appointment. Definitely would recommend.

This was the 1st time I visited this practice. It was a pleasant visit and I did not wait long. The staff were very nice and very efficient. My appointment went well and I was kept informed of what to expect next.

My midwifery care while pregnant and the follow on care for our baby has been really good. Reception staff, nurse, midwife and doctor have all been kind, caring and thorough.
