I have been diagnosed with diabetes in January and the practice especially the nurses have been very efficient and checking up on me with results and advice. They have really been thorough with tests etc

I was called for my three year 'smear test' recently and called to make a booking. I was booked in and got a confirmation text straight away. My appointment was on time, staff were friendly, and everything was explained clearly to me, including results and follow-up.

Cervical screening, which looks for the human papilloma virus (HPV), is offered to all women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64, with first appointments offered shortly after their 25th birthday. Smear tests are usually carried out at the GP surgery by a female nurse. Despite the potentially life-saving benefits of cervical screening, fewer than 7 in 10 people in the North West who were eligible for cervical screening attended their appointments in the year to June 2022. Sharing your positive experience in practice may encourage someone else to make an appointment so once again thank you for your feedback.

Without warning or much time we were removed from the list. I sent 3 emails and one registered letter none of which were ever acknowledge or replied to. It saddens me to think that such power is in the hands of faceless individuals.

I was late for my appointment due to traffic and train cancellations, arriving stressed and anxious. Right from the receptionist to the nurse I saw for my procedure I was afforded kindness and a willingness to see what they could do to help.
