    Arrived early & got called in early for appointment. Friendly & courteous greeting followed by detailed questions about home monitoring readings and general health & well being. Need for additional medication carefully explained with opportunity given to ask questions. Advice given on possible side effects. Further questioning & testing led to my referral to Referral Assessment Service which was acknowledged same day. I felt well listened to & not rushed, with arrangements made for follow up.

    I attended the Gatley Medical Practice today for a full blood count as requested on 23 August by one of the GPs at Cheadle, to be done in October. I had made this appointment in person on 16 October at the Cheadle practice at around 1030. The receptionist, at first could not find the initial request and did not believe that I had been asked to make such an appointment until I showed her the appropriate text on my phone. She eventually assured me that she had booked me in for the blood test at 1400 on 21 October at the Gatley practice. Upon arrival at Gatley, the receptionist could find no mention of this booked appointment, but fortunately the kind nurse there agreed to perform the full blood test, which I explained had been requested by the doctor at Cheadle. I should mention that on most occasions at Cheadle, the receptionists have been very polite and efficient. This time, however, I feel that the lady involved was less than helpful and had failed to process the appointment as promised.

This was an error made on our part and we appreciate you informing us. We value our patient’s feedback as we can learn and improve from our mistakes.     After being invited to make an appointment the system was easy to use. I had a query as I was due to have surgery and I received an answer within 2 hours. Appointment made. Seen on time. No queuing out the door as in years gone by. Very pleasant experience all round. Thank you

    Attended for an appointment but was told that I didn't have an appointment. Half an hour later I got a message saying 'sorry that you didn't attend your appointment in future will you please let us know that you will not be attending and the appointment can be given to someone else'.

    I arrived the surgery exhausted and collapsing after a 3 mins walk from car park. The receptionist immediately picked up that something was not right and asked me to take a seat. She came out of her cubicle and walked me to sitting area! She got me a glass of cold water . Then took my details and asked if I have appointment? I told her I have a scan appointment but was exhausted after about 3-5 mins walk! I told her that this has been the case in the last couple of months . The receptionist then confirmed my scan and arranged for a doctor to see me within 20mins and she kept an eye on me all through until I saw the doctor. * The doctor who attended to me was excellent too! The doctor asked about my symptoms and I explained to her. She explained so much about what she things might be going on in my system . She said she will ask for full blood check.She then referred me for an urgent blood check! She told me that all blood check will be done to try and find out what is causing the tiredness and pains . Blood now booked for Saturday the 9th sept 2023 .

    Visit to review blood pressure readings & health, following bad reactions to recently introduced additional bp medication. Clinician's attitude was apologetic, sympathetic & caring. I felt I was well listened to & thoroughly questioned & examined. I was given advice on how to treat lingering reactions & given follow-up appointment.
