The physiotherapist attended to me in a very empathetic way, very explanatory, very compassionate, gentle, she chooses her words with caution and very good at what she does. Sincerely she is very brilliant.

Needed help re my left foot but unfortunately I did not believe she understood or believe me. I was referred to her by another professional person and this physio said she had never heard of such treatment even though I had it in writing.

Review titled Incredible friendly care, wonderful prompt service.
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the GP service at College Green. I recently attended the service in a lot of pain; I was taken seriously and given immediate and prompt care. In addition, the care was friendly and warm. I do generally a little anxious at the doctors and I really needn't at College Green. From reception staff to the doctors, everyone is friendly and caring. I also came a week later (after a long course of antibiotics just because I wanted something checking out and I was little bit worried. It turned out to be absolutely fine but I was validated, cared for and listened too. This is a rarity in women's health and I am so grateful that this is not something I face at college green. I was advised to trust my body and my instincts and to come back at any time that I feel something is amis.

Dear patient, What amazing feedback, thank you so much. I’m so pleased that you were able to overcome your anxiety of seeing a doctor and then go on to be reassured by your visit. The GP is absolutely right about your instincts, no one knows our own bodies more that us so it’s important to never put off any feeling of concern. I will share your lovely comments with the CG team, thank you again. Kind regards Joan Beddows

Review titled No empathy in your staff
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 31 January 2024
I am very disappointed to have received a letter from this surgery which i honest felt was threatening due to me apparently being verbally violent towards there staff, I actually remember the call i made to the surgery where i had the phone put down on me due to me being extremely unwell and feeling down and using a swear word on the phone, this word was not directed to the staff and was about the way i felt so to have the phone put down in me and then to receive this letter is very disappointing. I feel your receptionist lack any compassion or empathy and are very entitled and this also goes for face to face communication . I am yet to have an appointment or ring to make and appointment at this surgery where i haven’t been meet with rude staff so i find it very ironic that i am now to receive this letter

Review titled Expediting letters and referrals not send
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 December 2023
I went to see the GP multiple times due to some hand issues which require surgery. A referral letter was sent, and because it took so long to get an appointment for the surgery the hospital advised the get an expediting letter. After speaking to reception and the GP who said that they sent the letter in May, it turned out in December that they never sent it, and I was multiple times given false information from the GP about this who never read the notes properly that it was just a referral letter which was issued. In addition, I was told last time that I get a referral for steroid injections to deal with the inflammation until the surgery. Today it turned out that they never issued the referral for that either. And then after going through all of this mess from the surgery and my hand issues with the fifth different GP today, they said we are out of time after 10 minutes and there was no time to discuss the actual health issue that I came to see the GP for today. Last time at least the receptionist apologised, today all I got was that GPs are busy and I should understand. I am a patient in severe pain, sent away and asked to come back over and over again with GPs not doing what they are supposed to do and asking for understanding for them. I work full time with no support from family and two young kids with severe daily hand pain for years. Where is understanding for my situation and any help? Really let me down.

Dear patient, I am very sorry to read that you feel let down by CG. This is not how we want any of our patients to feel. We value all feedback and I would really appreciate the opportunity to investigate your feedback further. Please contact the surgery and leave a message for me to call you back.
