Ended up being seen by Dr 25 minutes late so not a great start. And it was a wasted appointment as in dr couldn't change my medication due to the wrong blood tests being carried out beforehand. Have now got to go back to have correct blood tests and then wait again before I get the right dose of medication. Not impressed at all

Dear patient I am very sorry to read about your recent disappointing experience at CG. with regards to the doctor being 25 minutes late - unfortunately this can happen from time to time. Some patients will require more complicated treatments that others and this is not something the doctors can always have advanced knowledge of - resulting in some appointments running over. However, I fully appreciate that this can be frustrating for those having to wait. I am unsure how the wrong blood tests were carried out and I'm unable to look into this as I do not have your details. My appointment was at 3pm I was seen by 5 past 3 didn't wait long at all very friendly and polite great service thankyou so much as I can be very anxious and don't like waiting so this was great thankyou

I’m so pleased to read that you didn’t have to wait long before you were seen and you found everyone to be friendly and polite. We do our very best to ensure patients are seen on time and for most patients this is the case, however, there are times when an emergency occurs and this can mean patients have to wait after their appointment time to be seen. Thankfully, this does not happen too often. Just to let you know, if you ever do find yourself becoming anxious at the surgery, please do not hesitate to ask the receptionist for a glass of water to sip, we are here to help you. The Dr acknowledged a mistake in the wording of the letter and at the moment I don't need the ultrasound repeated. When this review asks about if you'd recommend family members etc. I don't always think it's a good idea at any surgery for all family members to attend the same surgery.

The practice has always provided brilliant service. Support is arranged and I spoke with a GP later the same day or within an acceptable time frame.

I came to the surgery today after feeling unwell for a few days to try and book an appointment. The receptionist was extremely helpful, understanding, patient and arranged for me to see a doctor immediately. The doctor was efficient, reassuring and I did not feel rushed or a nuisance - service well above my expectations. Thank you I feel very lucky to be a patient at this practice.

The GP was very thorough and took time to look at hospital correspondence and looked at the lump in question and I was referred to the relevant department.

Needed a new urgent prescription for my granddaughter, a problem that has been around for months between the practice and hospital. The receptionist helped greatly and arranged a phone call later from the doctor, which was received approx 2 hours later.
