I was listened to and came away with a prescription to pick up locally and a timeline for if I still feel ill when to re contact the surgery

Haven't had an appointment for ages due to chaotic process aka The NHS. You questioning me about an erroneous appointment merely underlines my case. I am at present experiencing a few health issues but just the thought of navigating the various interview and photoshloots I would have to undertake in order to secure a audience with a GP dissuades me sufficiently from lifting the receiver. PS I am 61 years old heaven knows how the really elderly and vulnerable view this "service"!

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on your experience. I am sorry you feel that you can not contact the surgery to book a appointment. If you are currently experiencing a few heath issues please do contact the surgery to book an appointment. The receptionist (care navigators) will ask you a couple of questions, this is to make sure you are booked in with the correct clinician and in the correct time frame. Another option that we offer is to complete a eConsult online between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday and this will be reviewed by a clinician and we aim to respond by the next day.

The practice is always so quick and helpful every time I call. I have ongoing issues so call a few times a month and I never have a bad experience!

I experenced a major flare up of my MS. I talked to Portsmouth MS nurse and I was proscribed a 5 day course of Steroids. The service I received from my GP was excellent. When only 3 days of the medication could be sourced they found a Pharmcy that had the other 2 days worth. This was on the saturday of the august bank holiday. Thank you so very much. I am so much better.

Responded very quickly after e-consult was unable to provide advice and said to contact the surgery directly. Already had blood tests following the phone consultation and I got a GP face to face appointment booked for next. Excellent.

I was a week early (!) but the kind last sorted my mess, got me booked in, I waited one whole minute, in, two v polite nurse staff, injected, out, all in 7 minutes! Tyvm staff
