The receptionist. I hate the fact I don’t know her name . But I know she’s blonde . She helped me when I was shouting and crying and not Making any sense . She remained calm . Didn’t hang up or get irritated by my time. So for that I applaud. She helped me that day. & communication with the drs is great too. I could have harmed myself or someone else . Thankful

I had a blood sample taken by a trainee phlebotomist who was under observation. The whole process was completely painless.

I’m quite new to the surgery but twice now I have been greeted by staff who have a lovely demeanour and excellent bed side manner. It’s sadly not a common occurrence so thank you

I contacted 111 to discuss my issue and was told to contact my GP and they would send a referral through. Evidently 111 felt there was sufficient reason for me to seek advice from a GP within a 6 hour window. I was under the impression that, given how busy GP surgeries are, the current NHS advice is to utilise services like 111 before contacting your GP. I followed this advice, and contacted the surgery. The person I spoke with could not have been more obstructive in terms to trying to help me. I explained multiple time that I was simply following the advice of a well publicised NHS service (111) but the person I spoke to suggested it sounded like I 'just had flu'. Whilst I appreciate your telephony staff have to screen calls in their 'Care Navigator' role, I had already been screened by 111. Telephony staff are not medically trained. They are not Doctors. They may have an opinion on somebody's symptoms, but this should not be shared with a patient as it is not a qualified opinion. There are no doubt many illnesses and diseases that are serious or even life threatening that share symptoms with minor, common issues. I am not saying my issue is or was life threatening, but people should not be turned away or obstructed when requesting medical advice, especially when the request is following an initial NHS screening, i.e. with 111. The Doctor I did eventually speak with was brilliant.

My procedure was carried out very efficiently and my ears were clear. No fault of the surgery, but it’s unfortunate that a relatively simple procedure is now no longer funded.

Recorded blood pressures for a week nobody got back to me to tell me if I needed further advice which turned out I did then trying to book an appointment more than a week in advance is impossible which means getting time of work is virtually impossible at short notice then when I managed to get an appointment I get a text saying you have missed the appointment when I know it was for the next day but I didn’t get a reminder text or a booking text to show them don’t understand why it is such hard work to get anything done

Have no problem with the service and treatment once at the surgery, which was very good. Do not like the system for getting an appointment very time wasting, ambiguous with seemingly repetitive questions
