I just had an appointment at the surgery and was blown away by the Doctor's professional and caring attitude. She was both attentive and very kind/helpful offering a plethora of advice and a 'plan of action'. Thank You! It's people like you who make us proud of the NHS.

Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Nurse who administered my baby’s immunisations was extremely friendly, empathetic and caring. Doctor I recently saw was super kind and attentive and even spotted something else that needed investigating while treating me for something else. Only gripe with the practice is that it’s difficult making appointments over the phone and there are very long wait times on the phone.

I have a very dim view of the nhsbut East Trees is exceptional. I always get an appointment when I need one. I see the same GP who has a great understanding of my needs and is really thorough. I get timely follow up texts. I can’t praise the surgery enough. This is the nhs at its best

Recently transferred to this practice due to never being able to get appointment at my old practice and I'm pleased I did. Staff helpful and friendly with a smile. Highly recommend

I have been registered with this GP Practice for over 3 years. All of my interactions with those at the surgery (receptionists, practitioners, Doctors and the practice manager) have been fantastic. The practice has prioritised appointments for me and been very good at getting back me when I have needed it. Consultations have felt very person centred and the doctors have been knowledgeable and sympathetic. I would highly recommend this GP practice.

I have diabetes and although I have had it for many years, it has been apparent recently that I needed to have a combination of long and rapid acting insulin. Under the guidance of the diabetic team the transition to this new regime has been very successful. Thank you to all concerned.

Didn't have to wait a long time, easy to check in for my appointment and the doctor was really welcoming and kind. The care she gave was excellent and I really appreciated the advice she gave me for my own care.

My E-consult form was responded to quickly and I was offered a face-to-face appointment within days. The response was caring and compassionate, which was very reassuring.

I went in for a procedure that I had discussed with my GP and decided it was right for me. Then when I turned up for the procedure a different doctor (after already confirming they had read my notes) asked me why I wanted it. I explained. The Dr then was quiet condescending in telling me why that was a stupid idea. I couldn't really say anything different, they're the 'expert' and in a position of power in that situation. I wasn't about to overrule them and ask them to then perform the very intimate and potentially painful procedure. So I left without it being done. Since returning home I have realised this experience has left me feeling awful. My regular GP listens to me, asks me what I think, and let's me be involved in decision making. I loved that and I'm so disappointed that they seem to be the only GP there that does this. I'm stuck now with wanting this procedure, one GP saying it would be good for me and another (the only one that can do it) making me feel stupid for suggesting it. After sleeping on it I have realised how badly this experience has made me feel.

It is often difficult to get through to any GP via telephone, so I was delighted to see that Easttrees had introduced an online system for non-urgent cases. I took advantage of it and was contacted remarkably speedily and my case handled swiftly and professionally by the doctor. I’d like to commend the practice for taking on the service and look forward to using it again should the need arise. A big thank you to those that implemented this system and to all the doctors at the practice.
