Hi Susan Thank you for taking the time to review our weekend Flu clinic and mention how organised and efficient the system was. I will pass onto the staff how friendly you mentioned they greeted you. Many had done 3 weekends in a row helping at the flu clinics on top of Monday to Friday. We are so very luck with our staff and wonderful Care Coordinators. Very good service and very organised. I went there for my flu and covid vaccine and in 5 minutes I was finished.

We sent out automatic booking links to patients, but also our care co ordinators help over the phone. Arrived at the surgery for my Sunday morning appointment to be surprised by a long queue. However, there were loads of cheerful staff making sure that things moved along quickly and 6 people administering the jabs. As a result we were all in and out really quickly and so many people were able to take advantage of a conveniently timed appointment. Thanks and well done Fairbrook team.

First I'd like to say I have been happy with an emergence appointment recently, but you do need to be on the phone line seconds before lines go over at 8:30, 14:00 on the day. I have had to use the 111 for my last 3 issues and was offered an appointment at the weekend within the hour for uti infection. Now I am trying to book with the same Gp that I saw and sent me for test with the Gp practice. I have followed the rules and called at 10:30 last week x2 and now again today after being asked to call back in 2 minutes as I was early and I do understand this, I checked that the Gp I need to see would have appointments. called straight back being number 4 in the queue, I was then told all booked on line. I was offered another Gp but going to difference doctors is not good for patient care and consistency. I will try again tomorrow I do try on line but never any doctors appointments available. Dear Dawn Thank you very much for your 4 stars and a fair review. Our phone lines and appointments opened up on the dot of 8.30 and 2.00 for the on the day appointments and 10.30 online and on the phone for our prebook appointments. I will check that the phone is synced to the correct time. Thank you for making me aware of this. I was pleased that when you rang today at 10.30 you were offered an appointment, but I am sorry that it wasn’t with the same clinician you saw last time. I agree for continuity, it would be preferable to see the same clinician, but our demand is high. Please can I suggest that if you try on line or on the phone at 10.30 tomorrow that you accept the clinician they offer (even if it is a different one). We would prefer that if you are ill that you are seen sooner. Our clinicians write very details consultations in medical records so they will be able to help. We did have a lot of appointments released on line at 10.30 so I am sorry that you were not able to book. I have added a link below to our newsletter on our website. We are working hard behind the scenes getting ready to update our appointment system at the end of this month to total triage. I was given the wrong advice twice by an incompetent receptionist which I am now being penalised (in waiting times). I then waited over 45 mins to see the Dr. There is a high turnover of staff.

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you feel you have been given the wrong advice and that you have had a poor experience with Fairbrook. As you are Anonymous, please could you contact me at Fairbrook via our website https://www.fairbrookmedical.co.uk/ Submit a new request and go to admin request form. If you could give me a full explanation of what you were trying to find out and what advice was given to you. I will be able to look into this further. We like to learn from any wrong doings and discuss these with the whole team in what we call a significant event meeting. We have had a stability in our staff for over 6 months now and are very pleased with our team but of course we can always develop and improve further with your help. I do apologise that you had to wait to see the doctor today. As I'm sure you know or may have seen, we do get emergencies arrive in the surgery or some patients can take longer than others. Great practice. Friendly staff. Doctors are amazing. They always do everything they can to see people who really need to be seen. They work tirelessly and are genuinely really supportive. They saw my mum and have her the time she needed to understand her health issues. The Dr was friendly and understanding and put my mum at ease. We really appreciate the time they gave.

As a type 2 diabetic it was a struggle maintaining good glucose levels. January 2023 I was sent to herts are diabetes team and started the Libre2 sensor together with Novorapid insulin and Levemir slow release insulin and the result has been remarkable. I’m now 93% in range with level on Hba1c blood count. Also over the course of the past 18 months my insulin level intake units have dropped dramatically as well . Libre2 sensors have helped me with my diabetes control and should be available to all. I have been with this practice for over 30 years and I cannot find one negative comment to make as the Drs , nurses and all support staff have been friendly and have always helped me through all my ailments and got me seen by the consultants when needed.

So pleased to hear that you are doing well on Libre2 sensors and your diabetes is controlled. It is great to hear that you can't find a negative comment to make about our practice, Drs, Nurses and all support staff. I wanted to leave a review to recognise the wonderful and friendly Male Clinical Pharmacist that called me today to discuss my Cholesterol. He was very understanding, patience and kind, made me feel extremely comfortable and was able to provide me the care and information that I required. Excellent. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
