I visited this surgery today for a blood test. I am normally a patient at Tanworth Lane. Young gentleman on reception very helpful and the lady who did the blood test very welcoming and chatty. I am ultimately to move into central Solihull in the next couple of months but intend at some point to transfer over to Yew Tree Lane.

Was on waiting list for steroid injection. Wasn't told that my GP had left and therefore the steroid clinic dates had changed. Called up and expected to attend with less than 24hrs notice. Couldn't do as am self employed and cant just change work around at last minute without incurring a loss of earnings. Asked the receptionist to talk to the GP about this, was told to expect a call back which never happened. was called couple of months later which I missed due to work. When I did call back, my circumstances couldn't be taken into account at all. Diary only went as far as the following week. Asked for a GP appointment to discuss, send a link to the NHS app which I'm not registered on and couldn't book an appointment on anyway. Rang surgery again, got told to put complaint in writing to practice manager......except last time they never bothered to respond! Asked name and was told they didn't know as they were at a different practice. Terrible service and with no chance of getting anything sorted anytime soon. Will have to resort to walking into practice and seeing what can be done there. However, this is just how bad the NHS runs these days and as usual, the patient is expected to change their life around no matter how problematic - appalling.

Got copd had test got have inhaila rang surgery cause want to pay my prescription for a Yr reception told me nurse will ring in 12 hrs been 12 days no responce

Called surgery at 8.02 am for appointment and returning call received at 9.25 and receptionist told you will got call again or text message for ur appointment time but did not get any call or message and I called again in surgery at3.25 for the out come of morning call. The receptionist told me you missed the appointment which was at 10.10 am and we sent the text at your number, that was surprised for me because I had not got any text on my number so it is disputed claim for both sides. The question is that why the receptionist didn’t confirm appoint appointment time , secondly, I will ask my service provider for the data of received text to prove surgery that I did not receive any text for appointment which the surgery normally do over phone. From last month , I am avoiding to go surgery and trying over the counter medicine and at last resort , I called surgery from one week every and after one week I am able to get returning call. If surgery can not handle workload why they register customers. I am paying tax to govt and I need health services and surgery responding as they are doing free service.

I am on a blood thinning drug for life and my repeat prescription has become unavailable due to telephone access almost inaccessible and nearly impossible. I do not drive and live a distance from the surgery and am disabled what am I surposed to do???

Phoned today and was caller number 6, after a wait of 30 minutes I finally got to caller number1 and for the next 25 minutes I remained number 1 until gave up!! I am not a patient at this practice, I was calling for my Mother who is 85. My practice is able to answer the phone promptly and triage calls and always offers an appointment on the same day. So what is wrong with Yew Tree Medical centre?? I hate that I have to have any dealings with it and have a list of complaints to numerous to go into.

To get an appointment whether same day or future I have to ring at 8am, I start work at 8am which makes this extremely difficultly. Every time I ring exactly as the surgery opens, I'm told I'm 30 plus in the queue, I've had to wait over 49 minutes to be told no appointments ring tomorrow. The only way I could get an appointment was to go into reception. This actually causes me a great deal of anxiety knowing I may not get an appointment to the point I may have to go private (i can't really afford to)....or maybe that's the idea to push us onto the private sector.

27/07/2023 I made an on line request for a none-repeat prescription for medication I have received in the past to relive the inflammation and pain of gout (this request was made via the website to try not to take up an appointment that somebody else could use) the automated reply said it would be available for collection from the pharmacy 31/07/2023. In considerable pain I hobbled to the pharmacy only to be told there was no prescription for me. I phoned the doctors reception and was then told that my request had been rejected, I asked why no one had contacted me to let me know and was told it is not a service they offer which I find totally unbelievable and unacceptable where is the patient care I then asked to speak to the practice manager only to be told that I have to e-mail a request in and she will contact me at a later date. I now have a telephone appointment on Wednesday 02/08/2023 so for over four days I have been in extreme pain thinking I was was going to receive medication a simple phone call from the surgery telling me I needed to make an appointment would have saved me hours of agony.

If only a reception staff who answer a call of help in Yew Tree Medical centre today 14/07/2023 can be more helpful and compassionate and act with kindness everytime they answer their phone calls it would be less stressful for a patient who seek assistance for medical help who waited 59 mins total just to speak with the receptionist. Just making this review I hope receptionist will not forget that they are employed to help sick/unwell patient when they call a surgery. I have no issues with other surgery under GPS practice only in this Yew Tree Medical Centre. Please remind your reception staff that this line of work has no room for rudeness because you are serving a NHS community.

My treatment was across 3 GPS sites with regular appointments being carried out over a period of 6 ŵeeks. Every aspect from diagnosis to bèìng completely healed was explained in detail and àdvice given on how to mañaĝè the situation moving forward. "Very Professìonaĺ
