Visited for my diabetic review and it was amazing. Great advice, a new treatment and had a truly lovely time of it. Thank you for a cheerful appointment.

Nurse took blood from myself, very efficient and painless, and surprisingly no bruising. Also time keeping was excellent.

Review titled Impossible to get a timely appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5

Impossible to get an appointment anymore! Have been with the surgery for over 30 years. Haven’t needed an appointment for a few years and tried to book an appointment today but nothing available for over a week!! Online triage system is clunky - really disappointing

Review titled No support
Rated 1 star out of 5

Receptionist immediately sounded fed up and combative and had very poor level of English, I called to make an appointment and was directed to the form, when I asked if I could make an appointment on the phone she said yes but then wouldn’t let me make an appointment - really strange and unnecessary stress when you’re unwell and in need of care. I feel like there is no point reaching out to my GP practice anymore as they seem resistant to provide an appointment.

Review titled Fed up with Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Just tried to make an appointment. Useless. Absolutely useless. New system is absolutely stupid. And I am still waiting for a letter of apology to all patients about the inadequate care we have been receiving. Shameful not to put your hand in the air and apologise. I, for one, can't see any improvement.

My appointment was cancelled. I had to go to surgery because phone was busy for days when I finally got an appointment I was left to wait an hour past my time

Review titled Excellent treatment

Charming receptionist, rang me back to carry out compulsory survey before making a doctor’s appointment for me. Apologetic about the length and depth of questions, but she made it pleasant and as short as she could.

Review titled Referrals
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I have generally been pleased with this practice. However, I do not understand why I should have to justify my need to access a referral to audiology given that the doctor had my full history up on the screen showing that I have been deaf my entire life and wear two hearing aids. I have been with the NHS audiology service since I was born. Given that hearing aids are required for deaf people to work and that lack of ability to interact with others is the leading cause of a whole range of health problems including alzheimers and dementia, you would think they would see the cost-effectiveness of supporting deaf people's access to simple solutions. I should not be having to justify my access. I am now going to have to wait god knows how long to get what I need when this used to be a drop in service that could be accessed as required. An absolutely shocking and short-sighted bureaucratic deterioration in services - not just due to this GP service but clearly a systemic issue.
