Took urine sample in on Monday lunch time and it’s now Thursday and only just got some tablets, had to speak to a few different people before i actually got a prescription which after taking it to 6 chemist none in stock. Meanwhile I haven’t been very comfortable with my symptoms.

Dear Maxine Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so sorry to learn that you have felt that our service hasn't been up to our usual standard. The waiting times for urine test results within the NHS can vary depending on the type of test you’ve undergone and the workload of the laboratory. The laboratory might also have performed further tests and any susceptibility to antibiotics. This additional testing can extend the wait time for up to a week or even more. I'm sorry to hear that you had a problem obtaining the medication from a few different pharmacies, some medication does run into shortages in the UK that are out of our control, due to supply and demand. We would be more than happy to let the GP know and to find a suitable alternative if you are still struggling. I saw a nurse practitioner who was very thorough. I’ve been sent for blood tests and feel confident that I will get a resolution to my problem.

My contact with the surgery has been mainly with the nurse for blood checks, pressure, cholesterol etc. Always really pleasant and welcoming. However my partners recent experience seeing the doctors hasn't been a good one. He very rarelt visits the doctors but he recently needed their support after visiting a&e with a foot infection. I won't go into detsils here but after two visits, we ended up going to a&e again. Not a good use of a&e time but what else can you do when you need medical attention and you are getting it from your GP.

Quick and efficient bloods taken by nurse, usual good service by NHS. Nothing more really to say, seems long winded for simple procedure

I was told to make an appointment to follow up a course of medication and check on its effectiveness. The appointment was some months off but I waited as advised. It was cancelled at short notice and I was told I’d get a phone call instead. The phone call was much later than the time I was told to expect it. When they eventually rang they had no idea of what had been arranged or discussed previously and I was fobbed off

The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The surgery is clean and bright. It was easy to get through on the phone to book an appointment. The nurse that I saw was knowledgeable and informative.
