The person who spoke i to me was really helpful this morning she was amazing But the surgery itself is quite annoying because you can never get an appointment with them and I barely need the doctors

  2. Review titled Infuriating experience

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Sinisa Prijic - Posted on 01 July 2024

Rude staff cover the phone that ignored my problems and specific medical and life problems. I needed to book an appointment for in person assessment of my fitness to work for a phased return to work but was temporarily out nof the UK. They refused to book me an appointment until I come back and do an econsult from the inside of the UK and then wait until they come back to me. The staff member was rude and completely ignored my specific circumstances, that I had a life changing event and a stroke and hanged up on me

The nurse I saw for my preventative examination was very professional and I felt some calmness as she talked through the proceedure before, during and after the examination.

  4. Review titled Poor handling of e-consultations

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by George - Posted on 28 June 2024

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of e-consultations at your practice. Despite the significant efforts to promote e-consultations to reduce the number of phone calls, I have encountered several issues that need to be addressed urgently. When I submit an e-consult, it appears that the staff do not read the messages properly. If the message is unclear, it would be more effective for them to contact the patient directly to clarify the request, rather than creating an error that results in the patient having to call back numerous times for a simple correction. After calling 2-3 times, it seems like the person who was initially dealing with the issue is never available to correct it, nor is there anyone else who can handle it in their absence. This inefficiency has now led to me being told to call back on Monday. While your practice claims that e-consults are dealt with within 2 working days, my experience suggests that it takes about 10 working days with constant follow-ups, and even then, issues remain unresolved. I was informed that the person responsible for e-consults works part-time. Given your practice's push towards encouraging e-consultations over phone calls, it might be beneficial to employ full-time staff or even multiple staff members dedicated to handling e-consult requests. This would ensure that patient queries are dealt with promptly and accurately, thus improving the overall efficiency and patient satisfaction. I am still waiting for my request to be addressed and resolved. I urge you to take immediate action to improve the management of e-consultations at your practice to avoid such issues in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift resolution.

  6. Review titled Worst and Nightmare Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 July 2024

It’s extremely difficult to get an appointment with a doctor. They alway make many different excuses when you ask for an appointment. They never give a quick appointment no matter how urgent your illness is. They love to increase their number of patients but don’t care about providing good service. I had the worst experience with getting an appointment with Harford Health Centre.

  7. Review titled Excellent and time sensitive care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sally Anne Smith - Posted on 03 March 2024

The efficiency with which my health concern was managed was very impressive. I did an online consultation and got a call to attend within 24 hours. I was referred to the hospital and seen very quickly. I am delighted to say that there was no sign of malignancy seen by the specialist but I am very grateful that the doctor took my concerns seriously and managed the issue so promptly. The doctor and medical students working with them wee al polite an thorough. The admin staff were efficient and polite. I think we should appreciate what the NHS does and staff should be treated with respect. Sadly, too many people seem to take this service for granted. Thank you for providing free at point of delivery good quality care. I would happily pay more taxes to fund the Health Service properly. I do not understand why a vocal minority feel it is appropriate to denigrate and abuse doctors and other healthcare workers. Please appreciate that they are human beings providing high quality professional care, often under very stressful circumstances. Most people understand this. I received the healthcare I needed and ( taxation aside which I do pay) I did not have to pay one cent upfront-many countries do not have this service. We are lucky. Thank you

  8. Review titled Some staff lack simple manners

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 February 2024

Having attended today for a routine appointment, I noticed that two staff members who I met both avoided eye contact or even saying hello. These are simple manners which I feel every person in these roles should display. Visiting health practises are daunting enough without being met with stern faced health professionals who can’t manage a simple hello or even a smile.

  9. Review titled Lovely practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ellie - Posted on 17 November 2023

All my experiences with the doctors, nurses and receptionists at this surgery have been really positive. The staff are friendly, professional and compassionate and there’s one doctor in particular who is such a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this surgery and big kudos to the staff for trying their best to help people in high stress, emotional situations. A kind word and smile goes a long way!

  10. Review titled Worst practice I have ever registered with

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 August 2023

I had a massive shock to my system when I registered at this practice compared to my previous practice, from handing out other patients records to me and then unapologetically challenging me on what I recalled of them when I handed them back to not sending out a referral for almost 2 months because the secretary was busy, cancelling repeats of current medication and sending out old medication, never being able to get an appointment apparently just been told a GP has to authorise the booking of an appointment and being directed to e-consult which is not available for a lot of the time. I am able to communicate well but am left feeling frustrated every time I have to deal with them and hate having to contact this practice for anything as I know I will have to battle to get what I need. sometimes I feel like I would rather drop dead than deal with them. I feel very sorry for people who may not be able to communicate as effectively. Avoid this practice if you can, complete waste of NHS tax payers money, you forget we are in a developed country when dealing with them.
