Arrived early,went in to see the nurse for blood tests, she was very polite and, the receptionist told me to go to the porch and use the screen,she could have been a bit pleasant it costs nothing.

I was extremely pleased with the response on two occasions, one a doctors appointment face to face and another telephone response, very caring. The only thing that upset me was that I got a message to say I had missed an appointment when I had rung to cancel it hence my then phone appointment.

I am sorry you were upset receiving a missed appointment notification and your communication to cancel your appointment was not acted on as promptly as we would of liked. There is huge pressure throughout the NHS on appointment availability and by increasing awareness of this problem, enforcing our policy robustly, we aim to reduce the number of DNAs in order to free up appointments for those who need them. We also appreciate that on occasions, there are special circumstances which may have result in a DNA notification out of patients control and would advise patients to inform reception when this applies so we can take this into consideration. On occasions, a DNA notification can be sent in error, as it was in this case, to which we also kindly encourage patients to contact our reception staff to discuss this further so we can rectify patients records accordingly. I had a blood test. Seen on time, the nurse was extremely efficient - everything prepared when I entered the room. Blood efficiently and easily taken (no bruising). I was out within 2 minutes. Thank you

Polite, caring & efficient staff across the board. The practice was busy on the day of my appointment but I didn’t have to wait long to been called. GP’s & Nursing staff personally greet patients which is great, puts you at your ease.

First class service from start to finish with clear diagnosis and explanation of future steps. Referral to hospital for x ray made immediately with explanation of how follow up would be communicated. Thank you .

Doctors I have seen/spoken with have been very caring and compassionate. Very quick to respond to requests and always involve me with making decisions. Very happy with the surgery.

Moved to the area 2 years ago. This is a great practice with great use of Information Technology. The staff are really helpful and I have seen Nurse Practitioners and doctors. They are always excellent.

I am disappointed that the system of ordering repeat prescriptions online has not been available for some time. Some good news about the re-instatement of this facility would be welcome.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We welcome all patient feedback as this provides us with a valuable insight into our services from the patients’ perspective and can inform service improvement. I am sorry to learn you have encountered obstacles when ordering repeat medication online. We are not aware of any system failures and would like to clarify the options available when ordering repeat medication: You can order your repeat medication through the following methods: • NHS App (Fastest Route) • Contact us Online using the link on our website between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday • Post through our letter box • via your local pharmacy We always advise to allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. This is the time the prescription will be processed within the surgery and sent to a pharmacy. The time to be processed at the pharmacy also needs to be taken into consideration when ordering medications. If you run out of medicine outside of your GP surgery's normal opening hours and need some urgently, there are a few ways to get an emergency supply quickly, even if you're away from home and more information is available via the NHS website. As we do operate across two sites, we are on occasions confused with Cheadle Hulme Medical practice who share the Cheadle Hulme Health Centre building at Smithy Green. Unfortunately providing anonymous feedback can make it difficult for us to investigate patient service thoroughly. As we do value your feedback, we would appreciate you contacting us at the practice to discuss what element of the system for ordering repeat medication is causing your concern.
