Excellent service. Doctor took the time to listen to my views. Only negative comment would be that the call was 35 minutes later than the appointment time.

Asked to attend for blood test via telephone. When asked by the nurse/phlebotomist for the request form I explained the circumstances of the appointment. Neither who had requested the test or the person who had contacted me were recorded. Consequently I was informed that blood could not be taken without a doctor’s authorisation and that this couldn’t be done then and there as all the GPS would be ‘busy’. My day had been arranged around this appointment!

I was very grateful to get an appointment when I needed it and received the treatment and follow up I needed. The staff - from reception to doctors etc - are always very helpful.

Several times iv had appointments, that I have turned up for and then they have been cancelled. No communication to inform me- although they insist they rand and spoke to me. Last time they booked me in to see a nurse practitioner rather than a doctor (normally would be fine) but she couldn't help me as she was not allowed to prescribe to someone who was pregnant. Really gone down hill over the years.

I called in the afternoon and managed to get in to see a doctor for a face to face appointment within 30 minutes. I couldn’t expect anything better.

A well presented and clean and tidy practice, whose staff are always ready to help & always try to assist in any way they can. The medical staff are pleasant, friendly while still being very professional & respectful of any issues. Most clinics always seem to be efficient & well run.The only minor gripes I have are the telephone booking system needs a major overhaul,the options at the start of the process are to long winded, it is slow and at times the queues are far too long. Gripe number 2 which is not an issue with the practice but it is with the practice Building itself, the car park has become way too small given the number of patients at the practice and the entrance/exit is not wide enough for it to be used safely. Would I recommend this practice overall Yes I would, even with the minor niggles.

We are always listening to patient feedback, today we have made changes to our phone system by making the spoken option messages shorter, doubled the number of phone 'lines' into the practice and have recruited additional hours into our reception team to reduce call queues. We have looked at expanding our car park but are unable to expand it due to green belt / planning issues. Kingsbridge Medical Practice
