  1. Review titled Bloods & Vax

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Lawrence S - Posted on 16 October 2023

Blood test and three vaccinations over two visits. Very quick, efficient, almost no waiting time. What can I say other than thank you very much to our wonderful Kingston Surgery and the pleasant, caring NHS staff there.

  2. Review titled Shingles vaccine

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Peter H - Posted on 09 October 2023

I called in to enquire about my shingles vaccine as I am 65 years old and have a health issue. I only had to wait for twenty minutes and the doctor called me in for the injection. A few minutes later I was able to leave the surgery.

  4. Review titled My experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by David H - Posted on 17 October 2023

Absolutely disgusted with how I’ve been treated, I’ve had a trapped nerve in my neck since April and having seen a doctor at the spire in Havant, he recommended that I have surgery to remove a disc and replace it, unfortunately I do not have the funds for this procedure so have to rely on the n h s , but I have been informed that I can have a steroid injection in my neck to ease the pain and maybe get me back to work as I am a hgv driver, I made inquiries about 1 month ago and got an appointment to see a doctor only to be told at 8.30 that morning that the doctor doesn’t inject necks, but they were going to sort another appointment, I actually saw a doctor last Tuesday morning, he sat me down then said you’ve come for an injection in your shoulder, I looked bemused and said that the problem is in my neck but I do have pain in my shoulder and arm and thumb, only to be told I’m sorry but I can’t inject your neck, I will speak with the doctor who originally told you and we will try and get you seen, to say I was speechless was an understatement , absolutely gutted , then on the Wednesday a doctor may be the one who originally I saw tried telling me that I can’t have the injection but have to wait for the operation, im sorry to say that I didn’t have much of a conversation with her about it because 7 months of pain and frustration im slowly losing hope, all I want is my neck pain sorted, surly not to much to ask? Also I will say that apart from the doctor/surgeon who I saw privately at the spire, I’ve only saw one doctor in person since this problem started, I’ve been prescribed zapain, diazepam, tramadol, and pregabalin all over the phone,

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry if there has been some miscommunication with regards to minor surgery injections, we are able to provide injections in the shoulder, but not the neck as this we need to be done by a specialist. We understand that whilst you are waiting to be seen by a specialist that you have on-going pain, you can re-contact to discuss further however we are limited to what we can offer.

Waste of time booking an appointment because there’s a queue out into car park not only a mixture of people and a few of us in wheelchairs and only one assistant helping

Thank you for your feedback. When patients attend for immunisation clinics, the appointments are issued to ensure that we do not overbook. Although the queues are initially long, due to the number of clinicians the queue reduces very quickly. We have floor walkers to ensure that those who may require further assistance are provided it, also patients can ask for help.
