The male doctor was investigating a lump in an intimate area of my body. He asked a female nurse to attend and made me feel comfortable with the situation.

After being invited to book a Health Check I did so, and received a confirmation to attend Lakeside surgery, and arranged to have blood tests. I had the blood tests done which, unfortunately, did not as a matter of NHS policy include the PSA test making the Health Check somewhat deficient. I continued the following week with the face to face checks at St Marys Surgery but that was after going to Lakeside early, only to be told my appointment was at St Marys surgery. Fortunately for me I had arrived early and had ten minutes to walk to St Marys. I walked because I prefer to walk short distances such as home to Lakeside surgery. After arriving at the exact time appointed I continued with the Health Check. This was entirely satisfactory, with my request for a PSA test granted and a form printed immediately. I then walked back to the Blood test clinic for the sample to be taken, and then walked home. I request that appointment confirmations state clearly and unequivocably which site to attend to avoid confusion, missed appointments and delay. I request that Health Check blood tests for men include the PSA test, as a standard routine procedure. I have been told that this would not involve taking any more blood samples than are taken now.

Dr was very attentive and understood my needs. An appt made for PCH to get me checked and other concerns dealt with. Most impressive was the follow up phone calls. Appreciated.

I visited Sheepmarket Surgery for mine and my newborns health check, we also attended an appointment for my baby to receive his first vaccinations. The doctor that saw us was great and handled my baby well. He also updated my health record and removed unnecessary medications from my repeat prescription list and listened to what I had to say. The ladies that administered the vaccinations were lovely, friendly and helpful in getting us in and out as quick as possible. Both appointments happened on time and in a timely manner meaning I could keep to my newborns schedule which was great.

I booked online and got as 6 day appointment for non urgent appointment for my dad. Dr O was fantastic, great patient manner, dealt with the respect form delicately along with a referral issue. Felt cared for, also spent lots of time that he probably didn’t have.

After requesting a prescription renewal I was asked to make an appointment to see a named doctor. After a 10th in the queue phone call I was given an appointment to see another GP a fortnight later. This appointment went well and the medication was prescribed but not available at the pharmacy until three days later. I have now received it and using it as advised. Results not yet apparent.

Telephone appointments are an easy way to have your appointment but I’m extremely frustrated at how doctors during these appointments seem to put you on speaker phone it makes it extremely hard to hear what’s being said I missed most of what my doctor was saying to me.
