No problem with the service I receive from the Clinicians but have problems accessing one due to the lack of staff. St.Mary's Surgery is underused, for example, I wanted someone to test my urine as I have an ongoing health problem but was told that I had to go down to the Sheepmarket Surgery down Ryhall Road because they haven't got the facilities at St Mary's. I am 71 and don't drive so that means I have to get transport down to Ryhall Road because I live in the Town Centre. This wouldn't be an issue for me if St.Mary's Surgery was utilised effectively.

Dear Elaine, Thank you for sharing your experience. The Stamford surgery has a same-day care team composed of various healthcare professionals to address immediate and urgent needs promptly. The team are based at Sheepmarket surgery, if a patient requires a urine sample to be tested due to signs of infection, then the sample will need to be provided at Sheepmarket. I received very good care and follow up advise from the nurse I saw. I have been given another appointment with the same nurse and feel confident my needs will be met. She spent time explaining things to me and over all found it a very positive appointment.

Very helpful and welcoming as soon as I checked in. Found the doctor reassuring and professional in her approach. Good experience all round and a relief to have some real help with the pain I’ve been going through this last week or so which was not confirmed before my visit. Much appreciation and gratitude for the work you all do.

I saw Dr beginning of May. A very thorough examination was given resulting in several tests and C/T scan. Outcome a bladder mass which l have appointment to see specialist all within three weeks.Amazing!! Made an appointment to see another Dr: for different complaint in the morning, by afternoon l was given an appointment to see a plastic surgeon 8 days later. Amazing service.

Just a prescription review. No complaints, but the GP didn't really engage with me. I got the feeling I was a quick win for a 2 minute appointment so they could get their schedule back on track. As I said, no real complaints but I felt it was a one way conversation with me doing all the talking.

I was very happy impressed with dr He listened carefully to what I had to say, he asked questions to clarify and make clear my statements so he obtained my medical history He gave me clear information about the problems I was raising. He issued a prescription which I am now using. He refered me to hospital for an x ray and he sent me a text tells ng me I did not have an infection He examined my foot and told me what to expect from it in the future and he sent m details and requested of physiotherapist I came home and recommended him to a friend A big thank you for his help
