    Had lump in breast Reception arranged for Dr to call. I received call within 1 hour and asked to go to lakeside practice.Sawtrainee plus Dr very happy with treatment

    Lakeside hold injection clinics . Once you are on the waiting list you have no idea when you will receive your treatment! The Doctors don’t know , reception doesn’t know. I was told by a Doctor that it could be two , four or six weeks! The timing of cortisone injections is key in maintaining mobility, easing pain and therefore helping with sleep. The service is poor and we deserve better.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. We hold injection clinics on an ad-hoc basis, which means we do not have a regular, fixed schedule for administering injections. Instead, we organise these clinics based on factors such as the availability of the clinician, the type of injection needed, and the number of patients requiring injections at a given time.     My experience at the practice today was very positive. All concerns were listened to and I felt very reassured by the calm professional manner at which the nurse carried out the procedure, ensuring that I was happy for her to continue despite my nerves and some pain. A very satisfactory outcome.

    I've been on systom on line everyday fir over a week, every time I click on appointment it is saying taken .The changes are not good, I hate to think how the elderly manage. I have a chronic illness and need to speak to some one ,the system is impossible.

    Tried to use Doctrine at about 8:30 this morning like I have before, only to find it is closed until 3 pm. Previously, I logged into Doctrine and filled out the forms to describe my problem. Two days later I was contacted and my problem resolved; very good, I was impressed. Today I tried to log in only to be met by a notice saying Doctrine is closed, I have to wait until 3 pm to describe my problem. I don't need a live chat. If I could describe my problem in slow time I am quite happy to wait a couple of days for someone appropriate to get back to me. Why not have two levels at entry? One for those that would like a live chat (open 3 pm to 8 pm) and a second where a patient can describe their problem, any time day or night, and wait for a response. This seemed to be how it was a few months ago? Anything that helps patients join the queue quickly.

    Dear Mr Coleby. Thankyou for your feedback on your experience with the Doctrin platform. Doctrin is not a live chat platform. It is a platform for non urgent concerns. Patient's submit their concerns and these are then opened and assigned to a suitable clinician. We have recently adapted the operating times to 3pm until 8pm, Monday to Friday. Between 3pm and 8pm is when new cases can be submitted on the website. The clinicians will respond inside the surgery core hours of 8am until 6:30pm. When your case is opened, you can access the platform to respond at a time that suits you. If you would like further information on Doctrin, please contact the surgery.     Great difficulty in getting an appointment. When you phone Reception you are told to call back at 0800hrs tomorrow. Why can't I have an appointment for next week as phoni g at 0800hrs is a waist of time.

Our appointments are released throughout the week and are available to book over the telephone, via SystmOnline, and the NHS App. I am very sorry to hear that when you called there was no availability of appointments to offer you.     37th in the telephone que in the morning : out-put = "pre-planned consultations with any of the doctors are booked for a month". Call back after lunch. 1st in the telephone que in the afternoon : out-put = "no slots available". When shall I call back? "use the chat service". Doubt a doctor can diagnose peripheral oedema over a chat service. "call 111" ... Shall I go to A&E instead? ... quite worrying in one of the most affluent Counties in the Country in one of the richest nations in the world. What has my tax been spent on ... should I register elsewhere to see a GP? Does the CQC read these comments? Who will manage the lakeside family care model?

    Dear Patient. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear of your experience when contacting the surgery. We have recently introduced a newly designed enhanced same day team which includes nurses, HCA, paramedics, as well as GPs. This is reflective of the team approach we took to same day care prior to the pandemic which we hope will increase the number of patients who contact for same day needs to be completely resolved with ongoing care plans where needed so avoiding the need to re-contact the surgery. We have engaged with our patient participation group around these changes and following their early feedback, they can see we are making changes to better serve our local community.     The Doctor I saw was very good he had read the notes and already decided what medication I need. Then he was concerned about my diabetes had not been check regularly so he sorted everything out concerning that. All I can say is he’s a great Doctor who is concerned about his patients.

    Just can’t seem to get a GP to progress my referral for specialist surgery recommended on my discharge form after 6 day emergency hospital Admission - have been told when I called into reception that it’s too busy to prioritise my case and I am to wait nearly 3 weeks for a GP phone call which could occur anytime so I am locked to my phone after raising a doctrin case - surely there is a process to communicate with me from my discharge notes about my referral for surgery
