    Phoned at 8:30am after being turned away at the surgery to book a routine appointment, which I must have. I was number 5 in the queue, after 40 minutes on hold I finally got through.

    GP I spoke was very compassionate and helpful. However the length of time it takes to get through to reception is a negative, I have been held in a queue only to find all apps have gone and to call again next day, it's time consuming and frustrating,

    It is rare nowadays to call this surgery and not be told that there are more than 60 patients ahead of you in the queue. When I finally got through after more than an hour, and queried this, a navigator told me that the queue is often over 200..I was told the next available bookable appointment to see a GP was over two weeks , and I should try calling at 8.00 am the following morning or try the online appointment service, which goes live at 8.00, but shuts down once the days appointments are booked. I got online, and was thrown out before I could complete my booking, a matter of some 3 minutes, as the system was full and all appointments had gone. So I joined the queue on the phone to be told "there are currently more than 60 patients ahead of you", and the surgery is no longer operating a call back service, nor accepting e-consultations. When I finally got an appointment, I arrived 10 minutes early only to wait until a half hour after my appointment time before I was seen. I hasten to add, the staff and GP's are fine, but it couldn't be more glaringly obvious that this surgery, and Forest Gate, are grossly understaffed and unable to provide the service they themselves are capable of as a result. Somebody, somewhere please do something!! This is leading to people who genuinely need care, such as myself, no longer bothering to call because of the unbelievable frustration, which I imagine often worsens cases of chronic hypertension such as mine!

    A great service by a great GP. The help and aftercare I experienced by this practice to settle my 80 year old father’s worries about his health have been excellent. I asked to be kept in the loop and was informed of all things relating to my father’s health promptly and professionally. Superb

    I have a family of 5 and I am yet to get an appointment for any of us. You sit on the phone for literally hours to always be told that there are no appointments available. I’m doubtful if there are actually any Drs in the establishment because I’ve never spoken to one or seen one. It’s the most disappointing organisation I’ve ever had to deal with.

    Having recently registered with this practice, after moving from the southcoast, I was very pleasantly surprised to get a same day appointment. My problem was dealt with in an efficient and curtious manner. Thank you.

    This GP is very great if you can manage to get through the receptionist to see a doctor or a nurse. The doctors and nurses do a fantastic job however the receptionist block this chance. It's near impossible to get an appointment to be seen by professionals. The receptionist will always advise you to go to argent care. The receptionist try everything possible to push people away. The receptionist needs work around their work because people are suffering and need to be seen.

    I tried to get an appointment by telephone after waiting 45mins for the phone no appointment available was advised to do e consult the next day waited nearly a week to speak to Dr and as my problem was not urgent thus was acceptable Saw a lovely Female GP who listened to me without interruption and gave me time to explain the issues I had with my health she was empathetic and understood my problem and hopefully has given me a solution She was an example of how the health service should be run I must say some of her colleagues could learn from her practice
