Over the last couple of years the Lawrence hill health centre has alway provided a high level of services even during the Covid lock down

Lawrence Hill is a very busy urban surgery that serves an inner city area with a diverse community. I have been registered here for over thirty years and have always received the best care. I have seen GP's come and go and the one constant is that all staff ensure a people focused approach to care. The patient always come first. Over the years, the services have expanded and the surgery now offers a dedicated podiatry service, an in-house pharmacist (available to discuss medications with patients) and a fantastic diabetes services to name but a few. The treatment room is full of delightful nurses and nursing assistants, who carry out such things blood tests, wound management and smear tests. The dedicated reception staff are always helpful and show great patience if patients are upset or in some cases, difficult! COVID came with it's logistical difficulties and yet, if needed, one could see a Doctor or Nurse safely throughout those difficult years. I feel really privileged to be a patient here and am grateful for the care my loved ones and I receive at Lawrence Hill.

Service received by doctor was excellent, only spoilt by difficulty making an appointment which is impossible by phone and you can't use the online service anymore. You have to go in person as soon as they open & speak with reception.

I showed up at clinic and doctor was in so rush that despite telling her about my acne on face she refused to believe that those are the initial stages of the one that I was talking to and she was persistent to say these are different and two week later I have even bigger acne then before

I visited the practise yesterday, unfortunately there was a very poorly patient in the reception area. I have to say the staff team dealt with the incident admirably. I hope the person involved is ok.

The staff in the treatment room are very helpful and caring. When having my yearly review the nurse was very helpful and informative.

I was told that I would be sent a sick note on 22-11-23. The receptionist confirmed that I would called back today by a doctor on 19-12-23 and no one has bothered to call me. I'm still without the sick note. Awful service.
