I have always regarded the people who work in this practice as healthcare professionals of the highest order. Wish I could say the same about the computer systems they use. I often disappear into acurx black holes, which I find frustrating, but it must be worse when you have to use NHS systems as part of your job. Hopefully things will improve before it affects everyone's will to live...

I registered with Lawerence Hill Health Center since 1993 and most of the Gp's were friendly and helpful but by 1995 standards began to slip downhill when some of my appointments were cancelled by the receptionist team who sent me a letter on the day stating that my Gp is not in surgery, so I went to the surgery and found that my Gp was in surgery and several questions later with my Gp and the Practice Manager 'resulted' in a pack of lies and things got 'worse' when the nurses refused to steralise my arm before taking 'blood samples' on each occasion and online 'repeat prescription' resulted in failures at the pharmacy and the practice secretaries refused to to pass on online messages to my Gp and since my regular Gp retired after the Covid lockdown this 'new team' of Gp's are rude and arrogant and unprofessional and constantly chasing the clock and this 'standard of practice' is inherent and endemic in the nhs Gp's Practice.

I attended the health Center for a ecg. Doctor then talked through the results, showing me the recording and answered all my questions.

Communication was great, listening so attentive, problems were given solutions. Very happy ! I suffer complicated and numerous conditions that leave me in pain and breathless but all conditions were discussed and addressed, with further tests ordered! Great attention to detail!

Over the last month I have seen a vast improvement in the service. I have actually seen a GP and had various tests due to visit. Feel more reassured going forward.

I had a chest infection which hadn't fully responded to a course of antibiotics. Although I had a pre-booked appointment the next day (Friday), the duty Doctor gave me an urgent appointment for Thursday afternoon. I was seen earlier than my appointment time. This doctor is very caring and kind. Their professional knowledge, expertise and ability to communicate is reassuring, especially as I was still feeling unwell. We discussed another health issue. I felt the doctor was very thorough and understood my concerns. All the staff, both Medical and Non-medical are professional, helpful and often go above and beyond to assist patients. I highly recommend this Practice. The atmosphere is welcoming. I have been registered with Lawrence Hill Health Centre since 1992.
