The nurses here who gave me my winter flu jab are so polite and very friendly. Made me feel relaxed and were very welcoming.

Had my flu jab today very friendly and efficient staff was in and out in about 90 seconds brilliant surgery.

They are trying hard to improve services and are using electronic resources to assist with this. They have recruited new staff but they are still unknown, it does sometimes concern me that I don't get the same doctor and have to repeat my history.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Yes we do have lots of new starters in post, so we ask that patients bear with us whilst they undergo their training. Our GPs are part time so its not always possible to always see the GP. Although providing a short history is helpful, please rest assured that all GPs have access to your medical history. We are however, working on providing more pre-bookable appointments for continuity of care.

This is a fantastic surgery, managed to fit me in straight away for important blood test, otherwise i would have had to sit for 2 hours at Pontefract Hospital for one. They have always gone above and beyond and referred me to 3 specialists.

Attended for flu vaccination almost no waiting time vaccinator very pleasant and professional obviously very well organised the environment was calm and reassuring inspiring confidence

Attended flu jab clinic -very efficient . No complaints. However trying to book an appointment with GP is virtually impossible

Thank you Mr Craven for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad that you appreciate the efficient flu clinics that we deliver. We pride ourselves on been the best! :-))) In terms of GP appointments, the GP is not always the best person for the job. We have access to more healthcare professionals than ever and some days we have unfilled appointments. Reassuringly, appointments to see a healthcare professional at the Practice is not difficult. Healthcare professionals can treat, prescribe, refer & issue sick notes, in exactly the same way as a GP.

I had a phone conversation with a practice nurse regarding treatment for my son. She spoke to me with compassion and understanding and recognised that I was struggling too. She made an appointment to see me and has supported me with my issues in a professional, effective and caring way. I am really grateful. Most consultations are very transactional now because of the pressure on NHS resourcing so to be treated with compassion and professional kindness was a very welcome experience. When we are vulnerable, to be treated with care is very much appreciated. Thank you. Small things make a huge difference

Very easy to book an appointment.for Saturday morning went in on time fory flu jab in & out in a few minutes it was once again very well organised in our very clean and well maintained local surgery.Everyone was so polite and helpful .Thank you everyone

We pride ourselves on the excellent delivery of this service and put lots of time and effort into ensuring that it runs as smoothly as possible for patients. Each year we vaccinate more than 2000 patients so its no mean feat but we love it!! :-))
