The GP didn’t phone on the day requested. I had to phone the following day at 4.30 as I still hadn’t receive a call. I eventually got one after 6pm. The doctor said ‘I don’t know much about that’. Then asked me how many things did I have to discuss, clearly wanting to get off the phone. This isn’t my usual experience of Medwyn.

I did my health check and the nurse was patient and friendly. She explained everything clearly. The whole experience was excellent.

Visit today for blood tests. On time, friendly welcome and requirement/ purpose thoroughly checked before blood sample taken. Very profession, efficient and friendly.

I came for a blood test which was carried out quickly and I immediately got the result and was able to have my medication adjusted. It did what it said on the tin.

Online help so quick, GP and nurses and HCA are super friendly and helpful. Any issue with our 2 year old she has been seen that day.

Very quick response to my concern relating to potential infection. At conclusion of period for prescribed medication, further contact and with a degree of ‘unknown’ as to cause, further tests arranged.

We have used this surgery since moving to Dorking early last year and I have been meaning to write a review for months. Unfortunately we have had to contact and go to the practice for both an emergency and for other less threatening but painful conditions. On every occasion we have been seen and treated by people who are friendly, interested, caring, positive and clearly excellent at their jobs. This applies to the frontline receptionists, who manage to be so welcoming as well as efficient, to the specialist nurses and expert physio "triage" and to the GPs we have seen. We are very grateful indeed. The system of applying to see or talk to someone at the practice by writing a description of your problem on the website works very well. We have always had a reply the same day and within a very short time if urgent. Of course this would not apply to those unable to use the internet who would have to ring or go in person, which may disadvantage some. We are very glad we moved here!

This surgery is very well run with compassionate and prompt care when you need it. I don’t know how they do it with the pressures they are under but all the staff are pleasant and helpful and obviously well led. I have found the email triage system in their website works very well and I’m contacted the same day if an emergency. This week I had a possible infection but deteriorated during the evening. One of the doctors rang me and arranged antibiotics to be collected that evening. He has rung me several times since to see how I am. (I have a long term condition). I do feel so reassured and as far as the NHS are concerned the treatment I received have allowed me not to have resorted to 111 or hospital. We are indeed very lucky to have Medwyn in Dorking.
