I recently went for my smear test and was very pleased with the nurse, she was very polite and professional. She didn’t rush me or make me feel uncomfortable which happened at my first one. Although there was a little pain and discomfort, she was very lovey, kind and efficient.

Fast and friendly staff from booking to being with the nurse for blood tests. Tests already coming through on the same day

Two weeks and still waiting on meds from the hospital to be released from the doctors….have been lied to about this three times I’m desperate for my meds you carnt even get an appointment now

I find the new system of completing an online form to request an appointment or for an admin query, much easier and faster than the previous telephone system. I have used it several times since it was introduced and have always been contacted quickly, with either text or telephone advice from a clinician. It’s definitely a much simpler process and I really like it.

This was a very interesting consultation - I have had call backs with a GP previously, but never used this process before. I expected a clinician to contact me by telephone. The messaging was easier than I thought it would be, though the response time from the GP was a bit alarming at first. My questions were answered clearly and concisely, and the outcome was satisfactory. My concern is that there are patients who are unfamiliar with the technology involved in an e-consultation, which could cause potential problems with such communications from the medical practice, and who would really prefer to see their GP in person.However, for me, this was a positive experience, and I would be happy to do it again.

Yes I do agree with you that e-consultations are not for everyone and we try hard to take that into consideration for our patients. I have had an ongoing medical issue for some months which requires twice weekly (at least) visits to the practice. All the clinical staff that I have come across including GPs, nurse practitioners, nurses and healthcare assistants, have without exception, treated me with dignity and compassion. I feel that they are doing their utmost to resolve my problem. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice despite the occasional difficulty in getting appointments
