    I have tried mutliple times to be seen by a doctor but Im always met by the receptionist asking questions that I dont feel comfortable asking. To then be told I have to eing back as all the appointments are gone or to try book online, where the only options are with a hcsw. I don't often ask to see a doctor so when I do, I have tried other avenues first. The lack of appointments are worrying

    Thank you for your comments. Our reception team will ask questions that require you to answer, we understand this can be uncomfortable, however this is to enable them to signpost appropriately. We have recently increased the appointments we are offering and patient should be noticing that it is easier.

    Very satisfactory appointment, involving examination, for which the doctor brought in a chaperone. Very reassuring, as I hadn’t asked. He was thorough, kind and gentle and had suggested follow up from hospital. Also, telephoned to check how I was after a week. Couldn’t ask for anything more. A wonderful, caring doctor.

    My appointment was for a blood test, which the nurse performed efficiently. there was a requirement for add on information (blood pressure, weight, etc. ) all dealt with in a friendly and professional manor.

    I was requested to get two BP checks using the in-house machine in the waiting area, prior to seeing the clinician. Both were erroneous and were discarded by the clinician, who used a manual BP tester to obtain an accurate reading. My appointment was on-time and the clinician was very efficient.

    I booked my appt online for a blood test and turned up to my appt to be told I got the wrong day. The receptionist wasn’t overly friendly but polite. She asked the nurse if she could squeeze me in after her next appt, as my bloods literally take 3 minutes as I had the form ready, but she said no it was her tea break. The hospital needed the bloods a couple of days later and I couldn’t get another appt until after the hospital needed them but they didn’t care. I had already travelled 15 minutes to get there with a baby and they couldn’t even just give me 3 minutes. The receptionist told me to drive to cosham and ask them if they could do it there, which I was not going to do as I know it would have been a no!! Pretty poor to be honest.

When you attend at the wrong date or time, we will see if their is any availability, however please understand that a blood test itself may only take a few minutes, but the necessary notes and paperwork also take time and if the clinic is fully booked we would not be able to fit you in.

    Have had to visit twice in the space of a week. First time was an emergency appointment and I cannot fault the standard of care I received. The second appointment was for a booked blood test. It was the hottest day of the year and wasn’t such a positive experience. The surgery was extremely hot, with very little ventilation from the windows and no fans. It was very uncomfortable, especially as the surgery still requires the wearing of masks. My appointment was almost 10 mins late which made it slightly more unbearable. On both occasions, the receptionist and medical team were faultless. Very welcoming, caring and compassionate. I definitely prefer this surgery to Cosham

    After achieving a telephone consultation and physio appointment the meeting/consultation was fine. I now need a follow up meeting to discuss my x ray results and the way forward to reduce pain and increase mobility. So it's back to the phone at 10 AM or internet at 7PM - (refer below).
