I have never had a bad service provided by this practice-always very helpful. Recently needed to be seen by a doctor and a routine check-up by a nurse. Was able to see a doctor on the day after a phone consultation and the nurse was friendly & kind.

Had an appointment with the surgery’s physio last week and he was very concerned about my breathing etc , within minutes he had arranged for a doctor to see me right away, Have since been to the hospital for tests and scan ,So very grateful for such swift action from both the physio and doctor ,cant thank them both enough.Our practise is fist class so efficient and caring ,Many thanks.

I had a minor procedure and follow up appointment and both were excellent as these things go. All staff were friendly and carried out the procedure with absolute skill and a relaxed, confident manner. Great stuff from Peverell Park Surgery

Excellent family doctors. Reliable and quick to respond to your health needs. Contacted in day of enquiry and appointment the next day. Very efficient service.

Very professional Surgery. The staff have always gone out of their way to accommodate. The Dioctors are very approachable when you can see them Must be one of the best in Plymouth

I needed to see my GP after over 15yrs of not having to. I called 4 times during the day 1st call 25 mins, 2nd call 35mins, 3rd call 60mins and last call 1hr 30 mins! Still no answer! I've tried emailing admin, only to be told to call! Whats the point in calling if 4 times at different times of the day the phone get ignored. There is no way the practise is this busy!

I am very sorry to hear this and surprised, we have a queuing system on our phones that transfers patients to other team members if the queue reaches over 5 patients and a system where the patient can select for a call back that holds your place in the queue for you for any wait over 5 minutes allowing you to go about your day and the system calls you when you reach number two in the queue, this is offered automatically for any person waiting 5 minutes or more. Also any call over a 10 minute wait is flagged and the dashboard goes red for all users so that we know and transfer services to phones. I ask get an alert that warns me of waits so that I can divert staff to assist. I have had no alerts to notify me. There would appear to be some sort of failure to our system if the information you are giving is correct. I have had no reports of calls waiting longer than 9 minutes for the last two months. Please could I ask that you email me direct so I can look into this matter for you as it’s very concerning if this is the case. My contact details are teresa.nation@nhs.net

I have met a pair of absolutely amazing and helpful people one being nurse one being a doctor, however, I feel like them two were the only caring people in this practice. I have called in tears as I was in massive pain caused by my condition begging for a face to face appointment as they have asked me to come in person to them whenever my condition reappears. Person picking up the phone just said you’ll get a call from us don’t know when. This wasn’t the first time either. Once person wouldn’t let me get even a call appointment as in their eyes it was pointless cause I wouldn’t be able to get meds from boots by myself. Then I have said that my partner will do it for me they then promised me a call back from a doctor which has never taken place. I do not recommend this practice.

I had an appointment this morning for my baby’s vaccinations with Laura, the practice nurse. I have been a bit anxious about my own health but was worried to bring it up because I know everyone is so stretched for time at the moment. But I knew I would just go home and worry so I mentioned it to her. She was so incredibly understanding and really helpful, signposting me to another member of staff at the surgery who can help with my worries. I left the surgery feeling 100% lighter and so grateful for her compassion and care. Thank you.
