    Unfortunately since Covid this practice has become very unorganised especially in their administrative department The appointment system is completely useless as there’s never any appointments when you phone in !! Also there are no blood tests done at the surgery since before Covid !! So that would be great to have that service back again ! All I all I would say I’m not at all satisfied with the service our surgery offers and there is much room for lots of improvement!!

    Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I would like to reply with regard to blood tests being taken here at the surgery - Covid did stop that, but not the surgery NHS had to protect staff and patients so this was not physically possible. We are hoping to actually start offering this service again in January. We have increased our admin team with high level staff perhaps you would like to expand on your experience that gives you this opinion? We have an average of 40-60 appointments per day to offer as well as other options ie: eConsult via our website, online booking, pre booking appointments. To be so unhappy is concerning, but I would say please contact me to discuss. Practice manager

    We were happy with the temp. Doctor . She answered our all questions and was happy to leave the surgery.

    Doctor called me earlier than expected, went through my symptoms and arranged an in person appointment where she was very thorough. Arranged for an MRI to investigate symptoms. She was pleasant and professional. I was very satisfied with the consultation

    Positive experience, very helpful member of staff. Could have been improved by making the follow up blood tests on the same premises rather than having to make an appointment at another location.

    The GP was superb. She gave me a thorough examination and spent time going into my health issues. She had a warm and caring approach. My only criticism is the fact I had to attempt making the appointment over 3 days despite the fact that I telephoned at 8am each time.

    Reception staff need to taught that when a telephone rings it should be answered there and then. I was put onto the holding circuit and held for over 20 minutes at no.3 with no movement & no comment. Rang again at 8am. and it was claimed no appointments left despite reception claiming to open at 8am. How can the practice survive if you cannot make an appointment? Also: Now demanding 3 days rather than 2 days to clear prescription requests.What if your sickness needs prescribed medicines urgently ?

    Thank you for your review. I would like to address your concerns. Our reception team prioritise the telephone as number 1, however what 7000 patient would not be aware of is the number of calls coming in hourly which average between 80-100 during peak time i:e: 0800am with 3 or 4 staff members working it is very difficult if not impossible to answer every call within 6 rings the national average - this is not there and then as it cannot happen. We have many avenues to book appointments as well as our telephony service. We have eConsult via our website, online booking, calling at a later time for pre booking dates. We do not demand that patients wait 72 hours this message was merely a courtesy to inform patients that during times of high demand it may take 72 hours to process routine medication requests.
