Review titled Superb practice nurse
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by John Fagan - Posted on 03 June 2024
Saw the practice nurse who spotted an infection with my leg and suggested I needed IV antibiotics. Went to A&E and was admitted for treatment which is now complete.

Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Ruba - Posted on 07 June 2024
I went to see the physiotherapist for my wrist pain. I thought she was helpful and I need to try be committed to doing physiotherapy exercises . however the physiotherapist said that I need try ice pack too and exercises first of all and can see whether can refer me to X-ray scan or ultrasound scan after six weeks . I was want a scan urgently but then I agree with her that I need try techniques and also take ibuprofen for my wrist pain. I’m happy and satisfied with her typed on screen what she was saying because I’m deaf and sometimes could not understand her . anyhow I’m satisfied with the outcome my appointment

Review titled I’m confused.
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 12 June 2024
Doctors all say different things, we were told all my bloods were abnormal but then when we came in he said they were all fine but I got texts and notifications on the nhs app saying they were all abnormal and I need to speak to a doctor as soon as possible.

Review titled Disappointing
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by G Maria - Posted on 08 June 2024
Incredibly slow waiting times. It’s hard enough to get an appointment, then once you have one the gp surgery is slow. Very little concern or care. A lot of elderly people with mobility issues coming in and having to queue with other people at the front. Waited an hour past my slot time until I was seen. I had a concern over a potential skin cancerous mole, I was laughed at and then given a referral (I was happy to get the referral), but the whole experience made me feel rather silly when I was just coming to get checked and take preventative measures. Overall very disappointing

Thank you for your feedback. Appointments are difficult as per the overall genre we have an average of a two week wait. I apologise as you are aware GPs sometimes run over time if patients need more care and or attention this is given to all patients. I will share your experience and disappointment at out next practice meeting. Regards, practice manager

I have just had an appointment with a doctor at the surgery following the loss of my wife. I was dealt with sympathy and professionalism.

I was seen quickly and received a clear advice regarding my issue. It was understandable and actionable by me. Hopefully the issue will now resolve itself.

Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 May 2024
My last vist as met with same treatment as last 20 years. Reception staff was too husy to attend. Made me wait and then asked if i had to wait longer blamed me for being late even though i was waiting from exact appointment tome. When was called for appointment got anlther interrogation and very rude behaviour for being late even though i wasnt. Extremely rude staff. Difficult to get appointments. Would not want to go back if given a choice. Still no face to face appointments. Reception staff as unhelpful as ever

Review titled Efficient and caring service

My blood test and blood pressure test (with height and weight) were carried out efficiently by the friendly Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistant and trainee. I also spoke about an appointment with an efficient Receptionist.

Review titled Great practice, poor locum
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Penelope’s mum - Posted on 14 May 2024
We saw a locum. My daughter has regular uti and the dr said she could catch them from toilet seats at school. she told my daughter to drink more water but then scared her about using public toilets. Absolutely ludicrous. She had no idea what the appointment was meant to be about, couldn’t find the test results and suggested I booked an appointment with a different doctor. The surgery is normally amazing but I’m disappointed about the locum they have there at the moment. She gave poor advice and tried to pass the buck to a different doctor.

Review titled Awful physio
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 13 May 2024
I had reason to see the surgery physio to investigate an issue. She was clueless in that she made sure the affected limbs moved. So there's no issue then.... Couldn't understand what I told her regards a limb with restricted movement from an accident decade's ago. Also could not understand the issues I'm experiencing. Eventually ran off and came back with a doctor. She was great as usual. Directed the physio on what was required. So the majority of the reception staff are appalling, the physio is the same. When / if you can get to speak to the single good receptionist and see a doctor face to face you get some progress. Used to be a great surgery. Gone down hill big time over the last few years.
