I popped into the Wootton Street surgery and spoke to a lovely lady at the reception desk who fitted me in later that morning to be seen. When I did return for my appointment I saw a lovely lady who was most helpful and understanding and prescribed me antibiotics for my foot.

I’m not sure what has changed over the past 4 weeks but the service has improved so much! The phone operations have been greatly improved by adding in departments/filtering systems so you no longer have to wait 45 minutes in a queue of 30+ people to speak to a receptionist. Blood appointments are now much more accessible eg same week rather than next month! The reception staff are more patient and attentive, and the response times from doctors has vastly improved! I was very close to leaving this surgery after some bad experiences but can honestly say the improvements are worth staying for

Frustrating lack of communication about the treatment I was supposed to have leading to a wasted appointment today and the need for a repeat appointment on Friday.

I did have a long wait for my appointment....the sister apologised for the wait...unfortunately i cannot remember her name but she was lovely very caring and thorough and asked a doctor for a second opinion also very compassionate when i got a little upset a very good experience

I got a same day appointment, the receptionist was really helpful and the nurse was there waiting for me. I didn't even have the need to sit down
